Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Happy Sunday Funday!   Was a busy day here.  It was super hot 90 here so for us that's hot.  We went to the antique car show and then had my dad here for a cookout and my son and my 2 grandchildren.  It was really nice.

Nomless dad is much better thank you.  All his episodes were in the hospital, like the hospital caused him to get much worse, they checked him for everything and he never was diagnosed, very strange but what's important now is he's doing much better and his hernia surgery went well and he's healing well.

Interesting article on the HIIT training, let me know how you like it.  I still like my proform bike but haven't been on it as I"m doing this dang Jillian dvd..  I haven't seen any changes either and I think I told everyone my shoulder is bothering me again, and that's from the TG.  I went to heavy, stupid me.

I love my lantern still, just put it up on some books in my Bay window along with another lantern and it nice there.   I also like yellow and blue together.  I always want things where I can see them, my kitchen table would look good with one too but I can't see it then when I"m in my living room at night.

Hoping everyone has a productive week, just get those workout clothes on and tell yourself I can do this, no matter what you chose it's better than riding the couch!!!

@JudyL, HIIT is high intensity interval training. Within the workout, you alternate periods of working very hard with periods of backing off and going at an easier pace.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hey all,  I did day 4 of Level 3 today of the Shred.  Our grass needs mowing badly too but not sure I can get the mower started.  It's windy out so good day to mow, 80 out though but the wind helps.

Isn't today the first day of summer and the longest day of the year?  Hate to think the days are getting shorter already!

Laura good job on your ride class and yes some changes we can't see on the inside but we know they are there!

Nomless hope your week is off to a good start!

Judy hope your feeling better

Not much else here, have a good day!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Cardio done.  I did HIIT on the bike.  Yes, it was harder!

Bopper, I'm glad to hear your dad is doing well after the rough patch he had.  Did you get the dress you ordered?  Did it fit?  Do you like it?

Have a good week, Laura.  You, too, Judy.

Short Pound class and then my return to Power.  Wow, you can  tell when you don't do a full weight class for over a month.  But I did it.

@nomless I don't know who Brent and Kacy are but my condolences.  Smiley Sad

Did some mental health fitness today and booked vacation #2.   After looking at all the costs involved with driving, it ended up not being that much more so I am flying and renting a car for one whole week of bliss.

@Laura14, Brent and Kacy are American Ninja Warrior (obstacle course show) athletes who were a couple for about 3 years.  Both are adorable and very accomplished.  Kacy, a tiny 5' 0", was the first woman to get up the 14' warped wall. They own a  gym together and do obstacle course training. From the outside looking in, they seemed perfect for each other.  I'm sorry they split.

Yay that you have vacation #2 planned!

I did a lot of errands today.  When I got home, I was tired and didn't feel like working out, so today is a rest day.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi, oh my I forgot to post yesterday, I was sure I did.  Yesterday I day day 5 of Level 3 shred and walked 3 miles outside.  It was breeze and cool so it was very nice.  Today I did another day of Shred and haven't walked yet but am taking Logan at 1.   It's only 66 here and cool wind, so cool I may have to actually shut the window blowing on me here.

Laura a vacation sounds nice, glad your able to get away and please tell us all about it after you get home.

Nomless I haven't been watching ANW at all.  I get wrapped up on baseball so its on in our house every night..  I saw some nice lanterns at Pier One  recently if you are still looking.

Does anyone know the Halston TSV coming up?  I like that line, don't have anything but I like it.

Not much else here, so I"ll say have a great day!
