Thanks for the welcome. Getting back into the exerise habit is a challenge. I had a cardiac ablation and took time to recover. The only problem was that I broke the exercise habit. I'm trying to work myself back into it. I see the cardiologist in September, so I hope to have a good report for him in terms of activity and pounds down.
I'm also logging food...and that is much easier to do than the exercise. We have had rain again so it is getting old, but fortunately my area has been spared. My car insurance agent was located in one of the areas hardest hit.

@KonaKat Just do what you can and what you like and you'll be back in the swing of things in no time. ![]()
Did some BG and pushups to mix it up a bit last night. I'm quickly discovering again that I live in the most unfriendly walking neighborhood and it's all sidewalks and clubhouse parks that I'm on and passing. People are just rude but welcome to Atlanta where if you don't have a car or are not in your car to get from point a to b, you're not a human being.
The streets of NYC were so much nicer. These people would drop into a fetal position if they ever visited a true walking town. You can't even let your neighbors walk the sidewalks in peace and I'm in Southern hospitality country. Makes me wonder what they actually listen to in church every Sunday and Wednesday night. But I digress.
Hope everyone is having a good week! Happy hump day!

Mammo this morning. The radiologist read it while I waited, and it's A-OK. Cardio done this afternoon.
Laura, you're having quite an adventure being without your car. It makes for great reading for the rest of us, lol.
Konakat, bit by bit you're moving forward. It sounds like you've been through a lot and now are on the road back. It's good you're not in a flooded area.
Bopper, how's your day going?
Lucy, good wishes to you and family and Lucy.

Hi all, today was my errand and grocery day so I was out the door before 8 am to get all that done, then came back and put it away and rode the Xbike 15 miles while watching baseball on TV. I have been getting up about once per hour if I'm sitting in my chair and walking around the yard trying to get in all my 10,000 steps. I get about 350 going around the yard/house once so it's OK I guess. It's very humid here, not terrible hot but the humidity is high.
Nomless yay on your mamo, and I have to schedule mine. Going to go the 1st week in August as my last one was July 29th, so it will be a year apart for insurance to pay. I am always worried about it but worrying doesn't do anything but stress you out too.
My dad is having some health issues again so my mind has gone to other places lately. Hard to get my mojo in order to get my workouts in so I have been walking and picked up the BG again.
Laura I live in a subdivision with little traffic so that is nice, if I want a change of scenery though I have to walk the side of a County road with trucks and cars going 55 mph or faster and frankly I am afraid someone will look down at their phones and run me down, so lately I've just been doing the neighborhood.
Well time for dinner , enjoy the evening everyone!

Hi everyone. We could use some prayers...Lucy is sick. Can't figure out what is wrong...over $1200 now and no answers. See what the pancreatic panel results show today. They thought she had glaucoma so we were sent to Ophthalmology at the big animal hospital about an hour away Monday evening...she said her eyes are fine. Back to the vet yesterday, they brought in a 3rd vet to look at her, did x-rays, looks like she has some GI upset so that's why they're looking at pacreatitis. Don't think she has it, but I'm fine ruling everything out. Especially if they can't find anything, they said we can go to the big animal hospital a little north from us so it will be good to have as much ruled out as possible.
They're sending DH to the Middle East this month so I want all this cleared up before he goes. And out A/C isn't working so I need to deal with that today. Of course when it's the hottest and muggiest week of the year.

Lucy, I'm sad to hear about Lucy. Prayers, of course, that she'said ok. I'm so sorry. Please let us know what you find out.
I'm sorry too that DH has to leave and that you have no AC. Yuck. Know that lots of good wishes are heading your way from here.

Bopper, prayers for you, too, that your dad is ok. You're in my thoughts, too.
BTW, I enjoyed watching much of craft day on HSN yesterday. There was a nice mix of products, many of which I hadn't seen before. Sara, the English woman who presents markers and die-cuts, etc., is fun to watch. She does great demos. I wish Q would bring back crafts. I don't do any, but I enjoy watching the demos.

Morning, thank you for the prayers for my dad, we're trying to get him into the neurologist but they are booked until the 1st of August.
Iluvlucy I am praying for your baby! So sad, she's so happy most of the time, it breaks your heart. Please keep us posted. So sorry about your AC, that is terrible!
Laura it's so muggy here, I know it's worse in other areas so shouldn't complain, it isn't hot but it's so muggy...I think I"ll bike inside today and do BG
nomless I missed the TS yesterday on HSN, that little cooker, that would have done a lot of cool stuff...I don't always check HSN, I should... My As Is Valerie spheres are coming today, I sure hope they work, I bought batteries. I got silver and think I can leave them out all year. Will put on the Bay window, among my lanterns. I like todays TSV also, the bench would be handy but you have to budget, I have a wedding coming up!
I think I should get moving now, bike and some cleaning. I want to stay in, it's too uncomfortable outside for me.
Have a blessed day!
