Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Morning, beautiful morning here about 64 degrees.

Nomless I sure hope you will feel better after your procedure.  I'm glad it's the weekend coming so you can rest up.   Take it easy ya hear!

Skylark hi, nice to meet you and your most welcome here.   We all try to keep each other going.  I love to walk and walkig with our babies makes it that much more enjoyable!

Patty how YOU doin Haha..hoping all is going well with you.   Hard to believe we are past the 4th already.   Thinking of DH and DS and  time passes quickly so he is back home again.

Cater and Tony a big Hi..

I'm doing weights today because yesterday was a 13 mile bike ride and a walk so I have to do weights today.   Then heading to lunch with an old neighbor lady who I invited to lunch as she seemed lonely yesterday and we talked and I thought it would be nice to take her to lunch.  Turns out 3 others are joining us so it should be fun.  All from the neighborhood.

Have a great Friday!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, Skylark.  Did you and Angie go walking today?  I hope you had nice weather to enjoy.

Hi, Bopper.  I hope your lunch with the neighbors is fun today.  It was nice of you to initiate it.

Hey, Patty, thinking of you and family, as always.  I hope things are good.

I got results back from yesterday's procedure.  It's all good.  I was surprised to get results so quickly....they told me it would take 'til Monday or Tuesday.  I was too worried, but still, it's nice to have it off my mind.

I still have to lay off exercise today.   Maybe I'll do bike tomorrow.  There's not impact with that, so I'm thinking it will be OK.

I didn't see the killdeer babies until this afternoon, but both are now accounted for.  They're so tiny.  Adorable.

Hi, Cater and Tony, a big wave to you, too.

I hope everyone has a fun weekend,  TGIF, right?!!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Thankyou for the welcomes.  I walked Angie this afternoon about 2 miles.  Thats about it. Spent the morning shopping with my granddaughter which is a workout in itself.  You guys here really get it going compared to me it seems.  But that's a good inspiration to me.

Nomless, I love birds too.  Enjoyed the kildeer updates. I have lots of birds around my home feed them all, including hummingbirds and golden finches. Hope you're 100% soon.

Hope everyone has a nice (and active) weekend.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi, Skylark.  Glad you had fun shopping and walking with Angie.   What kind of

dog is she?  How old?    Good for you for getting walking in every day.

I did 45 min cardio today on bike and elliptical.   I took it easy but it felt OK so I think I'm good to go.  Doc called yesterday with good lab results.  Thankful for that.  Now, time to do some house cleaning.

Hi, Bopper, enjoy your day. Patty, Tony, Cater,  et. al., you, too.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi all, quite hot and humid here.  86 is what it says.  I walked 4 miles today and did 13 miles on my bike.

Skylark I have a granddaughter too so I know what you mean.   They are precious though.  I love birds.  Have about 10 feeders out in the yard.  Trying to keep squirrels off of them is a feat in itself also.

Nomless we have killdear here too.  Usually see them in fields or by the shore.  How are you recovering?  Hope your weekend is going good for you!   Hey my fingernails are growing from using that Miracle serum.  I keep forgetting to tell you.  I almost have to cut them.  They are sharp though like baby nails so I don't want them long.

Not much going on here.  Yesterday I went to lunch with 2 ladies from the neighborhood. One was 88 years old and she can talk!!!!  Haha..bless her heart.  It was fun though.

Getting ready to watch some baseball my boy!  Hooray....

Have a great rest of your day!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi Everyone!

Bopper- I am watching the race now- got home from work and put it on. I'm hoping there are no delays cos I have to work tomorrow. I watched last week's race- I stayed up- could not believe the ending! Crazy! Is your son doing well? Any Red Sox games?
And it sounds like your weather is hanging in ok. same here- no complaints.
Nomless- I hope you are feeling less sore.At least your limited exercise gives your foot a break. Are the birds doing OK? Going to work this morning there was a porcupine just waddling down the road- no wonder they get hit, he didn't even try to get out of my way. then some big bird flew in front of me- maybe an owl, not sure. It was a still a little dark out.
Skylark- Hi! I am the workout failure of the bunch. I barely get any kind of workout in but my friends put up with me. Bopper used to crack the whip but now I hide.
Patty- hope all is well with you.
Cater- hope you are well, also.
Should be a hot day here tomorrow but I'll be at work with my sweatshirt on- I find it cold in the hospital. We are very busy for this time of year- so we are whining about the census! Oh well, what can ya do.....
Have a great Sunday!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Bopper, I'm happy that serum is helping your nails, too.  Great product.   I'm now using the Zoya Naked Mani set... I love those products, too.

Hi Tony.  It's good to see you.   Encountering a porcupine and an owl is exciting.   I never see those critters here.

This afternoon I did 45 moe cardio minutes to make up for a missed day.

I watched several episodes of Tiny House Hunters this afternoon.  I don't think I could live in a tiny house.  Some of them are only 100 sq. ft.   Yikes.   My place is small, but not that small!

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hello everyone.  So far today I did a 25 min. TV workout with light weights. Day is young yet, should do more.

Nomless,Angie is a little mixed breed rescue one of a kind. Dachshund and maybe some German Shepard. She's about 30lbs and 6 yrs. Loooves walking. We have another dog a Brussels Griffon,Daisy is too high strung to walk.

Tony14 wow you must live in a real wildlife area.  Workout failure... I get all enthused and then fall back.  But my dog and hopefully this group will keep me moving.  I left my job last Nov. and I don't want to get sluggish.

Hope everyone has a nice evening afternoon and evening.

Re: Welcome to the July Exercise Thread

Hi all, we went to camp today.  It was peaceful and nice to sit on the dock and dangle my feet in the water which was bath temp!   Logan isn't a water dog.  We had to carry him into the water to wet him down because it was so hot.  Skylark Logan is a Sheltie so he has a lot of coat.  He's my buddy though.  Your buddies sound beautiful too and such good company.

Tony your never a failure.!   You do your best...I still may be lurking around the corner though ( wink, wink)

Cool on the porky and the owl   I hope we don't get that bear this Fall.  I had turkey's in the back yard!   Hubby says "hmmm Thanksgiving"....  Hahaha

Nomless you did some great cardio.  Thanks for letting me know about the serum.  Now I need polish that doesn't chip.  I really don't want to spend 10$ for OPI either.

Patty hope your week ahead is nice for you with good frieds and good companionship!

I'm tired tonight.  I think all the fresh air.

Have a great rest of your night!   See everyone tomorrow!
