My apologies for the rant yesterday. I lost myself and I apologize. It's been a really bad week. Not an excuse but I didn't mean to vent in an inappropriate forum. I really think of you guys as my friends even though we've never met in person but even I've had enough of me and my attitude lately. I'm so sorry. ![]()
I got some of my frustration out at the gym with Ride class and Power this morning. I hit cardio for a bit in Ride and was a solid fat burn thoughout most of it. It's a short class though and I think I'm going to start changing my routine up since I'm not hitting cardio consistently .
We have good weather this weekend so I'll be walking in nature this weekend. Also, I think I'm going to start going to the gym later at night to get away from people and adjust myself even more. I am going to start the 7 minute workout at home to get myself even more activity. 7 minutes? Why not? And I have also thought of walking around my block which is quite hilly at night after dark as another addition to my routine. I think that should break through to where I want to be.
I really miss step class but they only offer it at times where it's a zoo on Saturday morning or during the day when I work. Maybe when the January people give it up, I might try and see if I can walk up there on the weekend and maybe take it again.
Hope everyone is having a good day.

Oh my, @bopper ....I could never hang upside down without throwing up, lol.
@Iluvlucy, isn't there a pill to clear up your hives so you don't have to just grin and bare it?
@Laura14, no apologies needed about your rant, lol, I'm right there with you on being in Fitbit Frustration. I still like it, though. If I care enough, one day I'm going to get in touch with customer service. The other night I know I didn't sleep more than one or two hours cause I was reading and playing games on my iPad. Mr. Fitbit had me down as sleeping, I think it was, six hours, lol.
@nomless, @SFGIANTSGIRL and anybody else....how ya doing!

Laura....everyone is in an irritable mood from time to time...if not, either their drug dosage is too high or they're not being real.
I for one appreciate people that can be honest and real.
Mmsfoxxie...that would be wonderful if there was a pill I could take that would work. Remember over the new year I was on high-dose Prednisone, Clarinex, Benedryl, and Zantac and still ended up in the ER.
Thanks bopper. We have two on us when we try to exercise on the ground...lol.
I went to my allergist yesterday and she did a Punch Biopsy on one of my hives...they're looking for Mast cells...or anything to give us a clue as to why I keep doing this. Then sent me over to hospital for a blood test...Tryptase(sp) level. See what these show.
I was up itching from 12:20 to 4:30....I knew it was going to be a bad night. My biopsy is also on the side I sleep on of course. I'm thinking she should have put another stitch in as it seems to bleed easily and is in an area that pulls every time I sit down.
Anyhoo, enough of that.
I did manage to get in a work-out with bands and light weights with treadmill intervals...also walked a lot at the hospital so still had almost 14,000 steps even though I wasn't feeling good and didn't do my usual outdoor activities.

Awwwww, my library diet failed me this week. In fact, I gained a pound, lol. Oh, well, I knew I'd reach a plateau sometime. Will have to try tweaking my nutrition a bit and see if I can get going again.
Lucy, I'm sorry you're dealing with another flare up. But even when you're not feeling well, you still bring it. You don't let it get you down. You go, girl!
Laura, don't worry about your rant. We all do it from time to time. You have a good plan for the weekend. Hope you enjoy being outside. Keep that vacation in mind when frustrations start building up.
Bopper, you and Logan are quite a pair. Glad you have him as your buddy. You do a good job of mixing it up re: workouts.....lots of options at hand. Enjoy your day.
It's sunny here today...we haven't had sun for a month or more, so it's about time. It looks like clouds will come back later today, though.

Happy Fri Yay Day! ![]()
We're still very mild, it's 30 out but light snow. Icy walking so I did my bike this morning and some light weights.
Iluvlucy so sorry you are dealing with a flare up again. I hope this biopsy shows something at least to give them some idea as to why this is happening to you. I agree with nomless though you always get it done!
My fitbit has been good to me thank goodness other than the clip broke from wear.
Nomless 1 pound could be a glass of water, don't worry about it too much. I go up 2 pounds in a day and hubby can be up 4 in a week.
Hoping ya'all have a great day and a great weekend!

That's right, it is Friday! Again. Since I've retired, Fridays come faster than they used too. Not fair, lol.

Doing great. Thanks. I have been eating pretty clean this week and I am hoping to make my 100 total miles running this month. The 1/2 marathon I am running is March 26, so I am trying to stay on coarse. Thanks
Hope everyone is doing great with the January goals.

Already hit my 10,000 steps for the day with an hour and a half nature hike. Feels good. ![]()

Wow, Laura, yourocked it! I hope your would feels better, too.
I like today's TSV lantern. It's a good height for where I would use it. If there was a yellow one, I'd probably buy it. Bronze would work, but it's too drab for me. And, I wonder how tippy it is. My cats could tip it over if they went running by. So I'll probably hold off for now, will check reviews later.
I've been for groceries, washed my car, and now am doing laundry. Watching Mary Tyler Moore on Sundance. It's still funny after all these years. What a great time for comedy that was...Mary, Bob Newhart, Carol Burnett on Saturday nights, the best night for TV back then. Currently, nothing comes close to those classics, IMO.

Happy Saturday, we're getting quite a bit of snow today, it is light and fluffy though. I've been doing yard laps. I have a path blown around the entire yard and go out every hour and do it 4 times which is giving me 1000 steps per time. Otherwise on the weekends when there isn't much to do I"d be sitting watchimg movies... Hubby worked this morning and just now went the college BB game. I didn't have any interest in that so I"m home with Logan. I'm glad he went though or he'd be sitting in his chair until this evening. He has no energy or ambition it seems in the winter so it's good for him.
Nomless I like the lanterns, and the lantern screws into the base so I don't think cats could knock it over. I had a gift card so got the 19 inch one. I just love lanterns and this one is very versatile for me.
SanFran girl glad to see your preparing well for the half marathon. Are you getting a lot of rain?
Laura we all have days where we need to just get away from it all, the woods does that for me.
Iluvlucy are you having a better day today? I hope you and DH are out and doing somehing fun which I"m sure you are.
We rented Sully for tonight so we'll watch that after we eat dinner.
Have a good day everyone!
