Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Feeling much better today. Going to work on the Giselle today and going to speed it up. But gotta be careful how I do this can't go crazy. Could get me in trouble. Getting that new humidifier too, my old one is still working but I'm getting a lot of static and the new filter, well it's too expensive. Tomorrow I go to the dr so I won't be doing much for a few days because I get shots in my back. Stay well. Take care.

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, sunny here but we started off at below zero...up to 15 now.

My car has something wrong with it so it is sitting in the garage....it's hard when you need to be somewhere and hubby has his car at work and you have to juggle 1 car to get to where you have to go but today we did it. I actually need to leave in a bit to go pick him up. Had Chiro appt, got groceries, and a hair appt. so today has been full.

In between i did my TG.

Nomless glad you are liking the new program and found a new door anchor.

FUTURE nice to have frozen meals you can pop into the oven...takes some of the pressure off you when you have such a busy week. We're supposed to get to 30 this weekend and that will feel like a heat wave compared to what we've been getting.

Tony so glad you stopped in. Glad your'e still on the band wagon with your dvd's...I can see you ya know Smiley Happy

Maggie hope you feel okay after your shot....keep at that Gazelle....

Pppmint praying for DH to return soon and that his arm will be Okay...Sounds like you may be recruiting some new gals to your class too...You Rock!

Well I need to do a few things, like put wood on the fire and then head back to town.

Have a wonderful day!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hi, Bopper. I hope the car is an easy (and quick!) fix.

Hi, Maggie, lots of good wishes to you re: doc appt. tomorrow.

I'm getting ready to call it a day at work. Will go home and do my workout! (after saying hi to the kitties, of course. They're so excited when I come home. Our furkids show us how to experience joy in the simplest of things....)

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Morning everyone. I just looked up my WOD and now I don't want to go...ugh. Handstand push-ups, pull-ups, bodyweight sumo dead-lifts...I guess I better get more of my salts! Glad they helped you FUTURE, it's amazing how well it's absorbed right through the skin.

Yesterday I worked a funeral at church(the luncheon) and took Lucy to the groomers. Lots of people. I got a run in yesterday morning before I went though.

Groceries and Mammo after CF. My breast team in Fairfax didn't fax my records like they said they would...grrr.

Nasty day here...school delays, closings, etc. Wind, sleet, freezing rain, ice, snow, and rain...ick. I had to turn the heat on this morning...it was 59* in here again. If it gets to 60*, I turn it on.

nomless...you better say hello to the kitties if you know what is good for you!Wink Glad you're enjoying working out with Tony.

Maggie...hope your doctor appt goes well.

bopper...hope you get your car back soon. Dh gets a loaner whenever his is being fixed now so that's convenient.

Waving to everyone! Tony, nice to see you!!!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, it's very gloomy and dark here and only 13 degrees....I think I am over Winter now...

Did Gym Intervals using the treadmill and my weights today and some rebounding on the Pilates and stretching...now I am starving.

Pppmint hope your mamo goes well.....irritating that your records weren't faxed though. I hope you picked up some more salts!

FUTURE glad you got in a workout...it's hard to keep going when your tired and speaking for myself the weather plays a roll...so over it! But Spring is a long way off for us.

Nomless glad you are getting into a routine again with your dvd's...and it helps when you like them.

Maggie hope your feeling alright today after your appointment....

Waving to all!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hi, everyone, happy Wednesday.

Bopper, I wish you a sunny day soon! It's sunny here today and temp is above freezing for the first time in a couple of weeks or more. What a nice change.

Hi, Patty, did you enjoy your WOD? Smile I bet you did great. I hope your appt. goes well.

Last night I did Tony's cardio w/o, tonight it will be back to the scuplt. I'm still a little sore on my left side, which is my weaker one. My cat Shadow is happy when I do my DVD workouts. He thinks it's play time and tries to get involved. That's bad he then gets in the way, and I have to be careful to avoid stepping on him.

Speaking of animals, did you see the news story about the dog in Seattle who takes the bus (alone) to the dog park? Really, she does! She gets on the bus, finds a seat, looks out the window to watch for the dog park stop, where she gets off the bus. She's a black lab mix and is very well behaved on the bus. Drivers and riders know her and welcome her. Lovely story.

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Yes, nomless, I did see "Leashless in Seattle"...lol. I love animals so much, I can't imagine living on this earth without them.

I "enjoyed" the WOD after it was over...lol. You wouldn't believe what we we had to do...I was upside down for so long, I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out of my head! They actually hurt last night and I'm not kidding. Whoever has said "my eyes are sore" from a work-out??

There was one point where I got so tired, I kind of fell off of my box where we were doing upside down push-ups, so since I was already on the ground, I just rolled over to my bar for Sumo lifts(we were being timed for rounds at this point so very tired)...even the coach cracked up at that one. My gf was dying, she overdid it yesterday...haven't heard from her this morning yet.

I hit the ground running today for some reason...still have a lot more to do as I've been on the go so much, my house took a hit this week. Will take Lucy for a couple of miles then I'm going on a run by myself.

No, bopper, the mammo was quite the ordeal...lol. Nothing can be simple anymore. I knew I'd have to have an ultra-sound too...always do.

It stopped raining...finally, what a nasty couple of days we've had. Still gloomy but it's "better"...baby steps. Have a great day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the January Exercise Thread

Hi all , was very dark and gloomy here this morning....it's up to 33 now so I walked Logan on the trail. Should have taken the snow shoes though as I was sinking and it wasn't fun. I did 10 miles on my exercise bike this morning...and some light stretching.

Vacuuming and dusting and changing out some winter stuff to Spring...I know it's early but when Winter is as long as we have it I have to do something or I'll lose my mind!

Pppmint glad your mamo is overwith and your workout was good...I am another one who couldn't live with out an animal...

Nomless I saw the new PK dvd's on collage...I found some for myself too but didn't order...I think I have so many I don't do...

ouuuuu the sun is popping out...........

FUTURE, Tony, Maggie, Von, a big wave to everyone!
