Foxxie, too bad about the basketball game in your space. At least it's only once a week.
Bopper, I didn'the size up in the CD because the bottoms would be so big they'd fall me. But the size I ordered might be too small on top. I need separates, but decided to take a chance.
My pedometer counted 3000 steps at work. I checked it throughout the day and realized it was missing the steps taken when I was slowly walking taking little steps while browsing shelves to find books or put books away. So actual steps is probably twice what it counted, and when I do a lot of those little steps, they count, too, at least in relation to making me tired. I'll keep using it for a few days to see if 3000 is the norm.

Hi guys. Just checking back after a bit away. Looks like everyone is doing well which is a wonderful thing. ![]()
I've been at my same gym classes and just got the best annual doctor's visit results ever so I guess I'm on the right track food and exercise wise. I about cried and jumped for joy all at the same time when I got the letter.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and keep up the activity. ![]()

Hello everyone and Happy Friday! We had a blanket of fresh snow when I got up so I walked the neighborhood a couple of times and shoveled and walked Logan on the snowy trail. Also had to shovel plow stuff which is so heavy and hard to shovel. That tuckered me out.
Foxie sorry about that music, that would drive me over the edge too, I like music don't get me wrong but not loud banging stuff, glad you stayed for the line dancing though.
Laura congrats on the good news from the Dr. Keep doing what you are doing, it pays off!
Nomless I agree about the steps, when I was walking with my GD, we were going slow and mine didn't register either, I think it's because your walking so softly and taking little steps. I hope you like your PJ's, I wished I had gotten them.
Linda you come visit anytime! Would love having you ![]()
Well I suppose I shall go feed my birds, I noticed my feeders were getting low. I so enjoy watching them flicker back and forth getting seeds. Lots of woodpeckers too, they are so cute to watch and I had the giant Piliated one too!
Have a blessed day everyone!

Howdy do to everybody. @Laura14, that is such great news from the doctor. I'm hoping that when I go back my borderline cholesterol will be normal. I think I should have been back already to get the second part of my pneumonia shot. I'll have to put that on my tondo list.
Oh, no....the weather forecast is awful! Starting tomorrow afternoon, the snow will start and isn't expected to stop before Sunday night. Sounds like I might have to let my snow removal guy deal with it this time. Five to nine inches if the forecast is correct.
Oh, what pretty birds in that picture, especially the red Cardinal.
I think there will be dessert this weekend. I saw this recipe on my FB page called Chocolate Crack or some kind of crack. You make it with a base of Ritz crackers and you put a caramel sauce on top. Put it in the oven to cook. Add semi sweet chocolate morsels. Heat that up, then spread. Add chopped pecans. When cool, crack it up like toffee, thus, the name 'crack'. I hope I talk myself out of making it.

@Laura14, I'm glad for you that you have a normal mammogram. I take it that others were inconclusive? Bad feeling, I know.
For several years I've had to go every 6 months for my pelvic exams which were not normal. It wasn't bad, just not normal, I forget the name for it. Well this time it was normal. Trouble is, it hasn't been normal in so long, I'm not sure I believe it, lol. The doctor said that if I want one in 6 months without paying out of pocket, I'd have to have a specific problem to come up that needed an exam. I think he was giving me a hint as to how to come in 6 months again instead of following the guideline of once a year. My mom died of cervical cancer. I already have her inherited glaucoma and osteoarthritis, don't want the cancer, too. The good thing is that at 69 I am in so much better health overall than she was. I became her caregiver at her age of 56 because she was legally blind with slight dementia which slowly got worse.
When you take the other tests, I'm sure everything will be fine because you seem to be taking care of yourself.

Hey everyone, I haven't got much to report but it was sunny here today. Although I guess snow blowing my neighbors driveway was some type of exercise. I didn't realize he had a double wide driveway and it's long. He is out of town and was coming back today and we had like 5 inches of snow so I knew he couldn't get in his garage without clearing it first so I did the good deed and did it for him. Funny thing is his girlfriend came over after I was done, I was getting my mail out of my box, and I said hello to her and she said Hi, but didn't ask if I knew who had done the driveway! I didn't say anything either, not looking for gratitude but I'd have been curious if I was her. It was cold today only low 20's and now it's 11 outside and clear as a bell.
Went to dinner with the Hubby to a small sports bar and grill and had a really good chicken wrap, and now watching The Nutcracker. I have never seen it!
Hoping everyone snuggles down tonight and has a blessed evening!

Happy December everyone! I know, haven't been over here in ages...haven't done facebook either. I check my PM's, notifications, and neighborhood group...haven't read my newsfeed at all. The election about did me in plus wasn't feeling well for so long, didn't really care.
nomless...it's funny, even though we've never met, I still think of you quite often and wonder how you are. I finally decided I needed to find out...lol! I read through some of your old ones, looks like you like your job other than your feet??
Laura...I looked for some of yours and you seem to have been on a December break as well but have returned! I also got my physical blood-work back, it was all good except my cholesterol is high but not enough for meds. Mine is hereditary so I don't get too wound up about it. My blood pressure is very low as is my heart-rate.
MickD...where are you??!!!
bopper...not much new to say...lol.
I just read one of your last ones and thought it was funny I talked about birds and woodpeckers yesterday and you had just written about them.
Mmsfoxxie....I think you had just started posting when I left. Glad to see you're still here.
Who am I missing?? I hope no one. Lets see, where to start..lol...we may FINALLY be on to something with what is going on with me...I'm STILL suffering with hives, swollen, red joints, itching, and angiodema. Long story short, I'm seeing a specialist on March 8th in Richmond Va. There are only 7 specialists in the U.S. that diagnose and treat this disorder(Mast Cell) so it takes a long time to get in. Mayo clinic said they'd take me but who feels like flying, hotel, etc...this will be easier and probably not much longer.
The one antihistamine they gave me did a number on me...oh my gosh, never again. It basically crippled me and I'm not exaggerating...my joints and muscles hurt so bad I couldn't walk some days...and I couldn't turn my neck to the right. Read online it has happened to other people too...regardless of what Johns Hopkins says! It also made me depressed...and I read that online as well...similar to what Singulair did to some people and now there is a warning on the Singulair bottles about suicide and depression!
DH flew back from Australia on a Wed night, we were in the ER Thursday morning...he almost got stuck in Australia. You should have seen me trying to get his shoes on and get him in the van...ay. They did an MRI right away, he has 4 compression fractures and a bulging disc which is pushing on his nerves, that's why his legs were giving out. Funny part was, my face was so bad, after I unloaded him, parked the car and ran back in, the lady at the front desk looked at me and thought I was there to be seen.
What a tribe.
Anyway, the Neurosurgeon said he has a Warrior's body and that's how they look in their 50's, said these Special Ops/Forces guys are beat up at this age, just like the NFL players...said they see it all the time. DH has had both shoulders and his knee operated on and his back and neck are a mess...he broke his back parachuting one time. Those landings are so hard...Doc said his spine is in a Z from hitting so hard.
Good news, and what keeps me sane is, DS is doing very well! Grad School is going great as is his work. First Christmas in a long time he isn't sick...last year he was so sick, it was really depressing, hard to see and not be able to do anything.
I guess no one cares about my exericse after this book! I have a couple of new power-walking buddies. Yesterday DH, Lucy and I did 5 miles, we saw so much wildlife...biggest Woodpecker I've ever seen. Then I did 3.5 with my neighbor in the afternoon, DH went to the Army-Navy game. I was supposed to go but gave my ticket away because I was feeling so poorly. Then could have gone but who knew.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! I'm afraid to hit "post" and see how long this is...I tried!
