Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Check In

Sorry about the hives, Patty. I hope you get to see the fitbit ad....maybe it's online. Chipped nails drive me nuts, too. That's one reason I prefer textures and glitters, chips are less obvious and can be patched seamlessly. I haven't seen W-icked, heard it's great. Have fun!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Check In

HI all, I"m still hangin in there. Still have a low headache but one of those that feels it could get big if I move too much.

Did the Pilates reformer today as it's gentle and then sat and did the In Motion elliptical so a total of 40 minutes.

Didn't sleep a wink,,,wide awake all night..might be the medicine she has me on for the migraine as it was a side effect but the night before last I slept good...then had a rocky tummy too....dang it makes me mad..I need my exercise! But this too shall pass right?

Nomless are you talking about Pink gel coat or something else. I usually go with more neutral colors on my nails as I have short nails but I still like them painted. Haven't seen the Fitbit ad either..and I watch TV! Hallmark movies today....and laying low....

Pppmint hope the hives are better....I wonder what caused that...hope you and DH have a good day today and the kids are doing alright too. Think of them often and keep them in my prayers.

FUTURE are you still around?

Okie dokie and Honey I'm giving a big wave to you!

Have a good day all!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Check In

Bopper, the polish we're talking about is brand Formula X from Sephora. It's a bubble pink with micro glitter. I tried neutrals but the look bad on me, making my nails look bruised. Even though my nails are short, I like strong colors and either metallic or textued finishes. Having lots of fun with with.

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Check In

Hi everyone just on here for a few minutes then I have to get ready to go and help with a Christmas party. Patty and Bopper sorry to read that you two are having some problems with hives and head aches. Bopper I had a Mom and a Aunt who suffered from the worst head aches like you are going through now. My Moms were so bad and they would hit her in a instant and then bam she was in bed. My Mom would some times even turn a purple color from the pain. Some times we would come home from school and she was so sick with them that we three kids thought she was going to die. A couple times I went so far as to call my Dad home from work (imagine he worked in a steel mill) and she was so ill that along with calling him home I called for the doctor to please come to our home. But what I wanted to tell you my Aunt who also suffered with those head aches what she did was get Ben Gay and she would put it on her for head and under her eyes and she would rub it all around her neck and shoulders and she would lie down on her sofa and she swore if it wasn't for the relief she got from the Ben Gay she would not survive. Well hope you two get to feeling better. Patty how is #1 son doing?

Okey, I tested the pink AstroLady polish on one finger. It's easy to work with, the color is terrific. Opaque with 2 coats but I used 3 for a stronger color. Wasn't happy with how it looked on me, though. Then I topped it with China Glaze micro holo glitter. Wow! Now it's perfect.

Sounds awesome! I really want to find something I will love. Every time I purchase a new color, somehow it turns out to be not quite what I wanted. LOL!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Check In

Got one tree up yesterday...yay! I might only do one this year, we'll see what the rest of the week brings. I have a busted crown so will be in dentist chair at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning. One thing after another!{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

W ICKED was excellent, great show! Some amazing talent. Think we're doing Phantom of the Opera with some other couples in January.

Today is a rest day...thought about going for a quick run but with 40mph winds...I'll take my rest-day.Wink

Time to shower for church. Then have to bug-out quickly since we haven't started packing for dh's trip. Can't get the animals wound-up too early, they get sad and stressed if they see a suitcase and the decorating was bad enough yesterday morning...they always wonder if we're moving again when I start moving the furniture and bringing out rubbermaid containers...lol.

Have a great day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the December Exercise Check In

Hey everyone, I think I have turned a corner so to speak for the good! Hooray! Went to the craft show at our dome with DH and just watching football now....taking it easy and did an hour of quiet meditation with relaxing music in my bedroom. Bought some Oil Of Peppermint from the craft show that is supposed to help with Migraines and I think it really did!

Cater thank you for the Ben Gay tip. I"ll pick some up to have on hand. My grandpa always swore by it but glad it helped your aunt. I also read taking 1/4 tsp. of powdered ginger in a glass of water helps, so did that too.

Pppmint I think 1 tree is fine, don't you? You have so much stuff to do and attend it's a lot of work putting up more than 1 tree. Is it your flocked tree? Glad you took a day off too.

Nomless I can't find that color on Sephora. Looked and found a bubble gum pink but it doesn't look like it has micro glitter in it. Can you put the link up?

FUTURE glad you stopped in to say Hi, busy time for all of us.

Okie dokie 8 in a row woo hoo! Thanks for the well wishes too...they all help.

Ok all have a great rest of your day!
