Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

@Iluvlucy, I've looked and looked at the previous posts and can't see one mentioning something wrong with your dil.  Here's hoping that she is ok now or on the mend.

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Morning everyone, I have read up on the posts and apologize if I missed some stuff, my mind is a boggle lately.

Lucy so sorry DIL went through this again, my prayers go out to you and your DS and DIL, so very hard emotionally and physically.

Prayers to all those in Texas an along that coast during this storm too!

I was thinking of treating myself to the Barefoot Dreams cardigan TSV coming up as it's been a rough month, thank you Lucy for saying how much you love them.

Hubby continues to recover, went to work yesterday for about 4 hours, even drove himself which dr. granted permission to.  I was a little nervous but he called me when he arrived.  Grilled fish last night for dinner, it was so good!

Judy have a wonderful trip!  Monty will miss you but he will be well taken care of!

MickD you're moving fast on the treadmill, I know it's boring but you are doing really well!   I finally got to take Logan to the trail yesterday, very muddy in spots though from all the rain.

Today hubby and I will venture out to the Harbor Fest, last Hooray of the summer down at the lake.  Just music and vendors, it's chilly though.  44 here this morning and by the water will be cold too.  But it should get into the 60's anyways today.

Nomless, Dr.Kelli, foxxie, everyone visiting today a big Hello!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Hey all, I cancelled my Pilates session this morning, dh had something to do but the place is closed so we're going to go hiking instead plus my back is hurting from Barre so don't want to push it.  We're in the 40's!

Thanks everyone!  Mmsfoxxie...I mentioned ds and dil lost another baby this summer(I didn't tell anyone when it actully happened)...and once again, she didn't pass it so had to have another D&C.  To make matters even worse, her numbers(hormones) didn't come down like they were supposed to so they thought they left some of the baby inside of her and said if they don't come down, they'll either have to induce labor or do another D&C.  Believe it or not, her numbers still aren't at zero(she has blood drawn every few days).  This one was much harder than the 1st one. But they rely on their faith and get through..life goes on.

DrKelli...I hope your trip goes well!

Laura...hope your Tuesday appt goes well, I think they'll be sorry if it doesn't...lol!

Judy...have a safe trip!

nomless...I do remember Coco having the UTI.  I sure hope Shadow is okay. I am wondering what the move into the new house will do to Kit.

Waving to everyone!

Thanks bopper, I didn't see your post, we must have been typing around the same time.  Mine wouldn't post, that blue circle kept going and going.

We're in the 40's too so going to take advantage of it!  Glad his day went well at work. Enjoy your festival!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Good morning all!  Amazing recovery of your husband, @bopper!

Oh, boy.  Poor Texas residents!  I pray that the storm stops sooner than predicted and that the devastation is not as bad as Katrina.  My son in San Diego was just mentioning that he might move there because the cost f living is cheaper.  I guess weather acts up everywhere sometimes, though.

Back to my usual routine.  Zumba this morning.

Have a great day!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

OMG, I just saw a picture of a group of residents in a nursing home in Houston up to their waists in flood water.  The ones in wheelchairs were up to their necks.  Luckily, one of them sent a picture to a relative and they got rescued.  My heart and prayers go out to the people in Texas affected by this terrible weather.  More rain is expected.

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Hey all, it's raining here and so humid, not warm only in the 60's but the humidity is terrible.  Of course hubby doesn't think so and he's cold.  It's normal after his surgery.  We didn't do much today with this weather.  I made apple butter for toast or pancakes and cooked up some chicken, made cowboy caviar which is really good and wil use it for our chicken taco's tomorrow.

I feel so bad for those residents in the nursing home. I saw that too foxxie, breaks my heart.  So many losing everything they had.

Tomorrow hubby has rehab and Tuesday we see cardiologist but things are progressing.  Oddly enough one of the cards he received from his friend, we just found out since we have gotten that card he had to have the same thing, only a Triple bypass though not Quadruple but isn't that ironic.  He was actually needing a Pancreas transplant as he is diabetic and during routine pre testing, he had that dye go through him and they found 3 blockages.  We sure aren't getting any younger are we!

Waving to everyone, need to wash dishes and clean up the kitchen.
