Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Hi guys...thanks for the love. {#emotions_dlg.wub}

My gf came over yesterday and helped me with a couple of things I couldn't do myself...wanted to move a fireplace into our bedroom...she helped me set up my glass shelves in my hutch and unpacked and washed everything that goes in there. I steamed my kitchen floor so when she got here we could move my eat-in kitchen table on the rug and set that up.

My son is holding his own, we're hoping the medication is preventing this from becoming a bad flare. He is very crampy/painful this morning but so far, that was it. So that was great news, I felt a weight come off my shoulders even though we aren't out of the woods.

Lucy and I went exploring, you turn left out of our house and right at end of the street is a bridge that takes us to the water-woods-trails. We love it. It is so peaceful, she is very happy, you can tell.

Hope everyone is doing alright. I had to stop running this morning...think I'm going to have to find a doctor about my hip, I've never had this pain before, it's something new. {#emotions_dlg.glare}{#emotions_dlg.mad} Least of my problems though if he stays out of the hospital.

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Hey everyone, I feel I really pushed myself today out of my comfort zone..Did Chest, shoulders, and back and then lots of Plank abs in different positions, 4 sets of everything and by set 3 I was fried but I grunted {#emotions_dlg.laugh} and pulled out another set...I am very determined.

Was going to walk this afternoon, but not right now. My Tigers have an afternoon game!

Pppmint so glad DS is holding his own,,,,it's great news indeed! Praying for him and you. Be careful on the trail for the creepy crawlies!

Nomless great job on the TG...I have been using mine for my warmups...I love the Ab crunch attachment too.

Honny great job with that backpack that's awesome

Tony glad you popped in you MIA you {#emotions_dlg.laugh} Yes I feel very bad for all those involved in that horrific accident on the track....Tony Stewart still may be charged...it's a terrible thing.

Judy are you on your trip..you haven't been here in a long while..

Canine, von..you are both missing too.

FUTURE can't believe we are in Thursday already...Hope your week isn't to crazy and you can get in some pup walks and a nap!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Patty, I'm so glad DS held his own yesterday. I hope the same is true today. It's great that you spent yesterday with gf and that she helped get some things done. I'm sure both eased your mind a little. Prayers, as always.

Bopper, good job! You'll be giving Lisa R a run for her money before you know it. Do you checl out her Tuesday challenges on her fb page? She's amazing.

I ordered rhe tsv tablet today. Yay. I've been wanting a spare so I can keep reading when the battery is low on current tablet, but I didn't want to spend mega bucks for a spare tablet. The tsv will be servicable and will fit the bill nicely as a spare. It's goofy that one tablet isn't enough. I use mine amost constantly when I'm aat home, and low battery is most unwelcome. Now I'll be able to have a fully charged one available at all times. Am I spoiled or what? LOL

I'm off to do TG. My muscles are still sore from two days ago, will try to give it my all again today.

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Just learned my tablet order is on advanced order; it won't ship until mid Sept. Oh, darn. Oh, well, not a big deal really. Better for my budget, anyway. TG done.

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Bopper and Nomless, way to go, girls! Honny, your hike sounds nice! Patty, hope DS keeps getting better and meds work. Still sending up prayers for you guys! Well, I did spin and some weights this am. The usual......Smiley Wink Had dinner with a great friend, which was really nice. Had a fairly busy day. Tmrw I'll probably get up and do Pilates for 30 mins in the am. I'm really liking that machine. I need to increase my cardio, though. Treadmill is NOT my cardio of choice, and if I do it 4-5 days a week, my hips really hurt. Patty, I might need that doc rec if you get one. LOL!!! Smiley Wink But I can't wait for it to cool down so I can get outside. My allergies have been bonkers, and I get super itchy when I'm outside for more than 15 minutes. Ok, enough complaining. I promise I'm in a good mood! Smiley Happy Smiley Happy Tomorrow is work and taking the dogs to the vet, a bunch of errands, and dinner with a friend. Should be nice. Ok, Happy Friday, everyone!!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Morning all, I changed it up a bit today and did Jillian's Ripped in 30 Level 3. Didn't like it. Had to modify a lot because my wrists hurt and I can't do Roll ups because my neck hurts...but I made it through doing my own thing for some of it. Anyway it was different from what I have been doing. I am watching level 4 right now and it seems more suited for me that level 3.

Cool start to the day again, in the upper 40's. Warming up this weekend from what I have heard .

FUTURE good job on the workouts and the pilates. I have a reformer and never use it. You really like it hey. Do you follow a dvd or just do your own thing.

Pppmint another day to get more organized..hoping and praying DS can hold his own and get passed this hurdle too.

Nomless TG good job! glad you are having a good sore!

I am having my dad for dinner tonight and we are grilling fish. I think I"l make a blueberry crisp too. We went picking last night. You know I hate to be a party pooper but I hate picking...They are so small and all I hear is "plink, plink plink as they hit the bottom of the container.......... haha took Logan with us and he just dinked around but he was panting and hot.. I had water for him but he only drank a little bit..

Well better shower and I need to tidy up this joint!

Have a good day!

Re: Welcome to the August Exercise Thread

Hi, Bopper, only you stopped in today. Yep, sometimes modification is necessary. We gotta do what we gotta do, right? Enjoy your dinner with data. And the blueberry crisp!

No news from me today. I don't know if I'll do cardio tonight or take the night off.

Patty, I pray DS is still holding his own, and that you got a little more done around the house, and that DH is recovering well and that you're all looking forward to the upcoming events. And that Lucy is being a good girl during all the commotion!! LOL. Lots of good wishes for you.

Hi, Future, TGIF, eh? I hope you had a good day and that your weekend is even better!
