Cardio done. I also figured out now to use 4 of the new machines - one of the tri machines, lat pull down, chest press and seated row. Very impressed with them so far. It's very easy to see how much weight you're using, they're easy to adjust and very smooth. I felt like I was able to do heavier weight than I do using hand weights. Will definitely investigate the other machines and hope to use these regularly.
Hi, Tony! Good to see you. The craft fair was fun (and lots of walking!). I saw a few things I liked, but they were very expensive, so I passed. I fell in love with some lighted floral designs between acrylic plates. Very co?orful and gorgeous, but about twice as much as I was willing to spend. Nonetheless, it was a good time.
Daisy, oh-oh, now your back is hurting, too? I hope as you move around today, it loosens up and feels better.
Speaking of situps, that reminds me. In one of the Piyo workouts I've done, Chalene does a bunch of sit-ups. I did a bunch before I realized that they were easy for me. What a surprise. Maybe it was because of the position she uses - arms in front of you parallel to the floor, instead of above your head.
Hi, Bopper, have a fun day.

Happy Saturday everyone, it's snowing here and super windy 27 outside..lots of accidents also.
I did 15 on the bike this morning and am cleaning and moving stuff.
Nomless I am so jealous you have those machines. I dont' belong to a gym so haven't ever experienced machines, I think they reallydo benefit you! Keep me posted. I love craft shows too. One here in May, so I'll check it out.
Notan love your post, please train me,,,,I need help ( winking) So proud of you for your accomplishments. Post as much here as you would like!
Daisy sorry about your back, seems it's going around here, Laura too with her back. I have to be very careful with mine and my neck but we do what we can.
Tony glad you found us again, I thought you may be "lost" in cyber world! hahha I'm afraid my snow did end up by you...when is Spring coming?
Making spaghetti for dinner, seems good on a cold winter day! (even in April)
Be well everyone!

Hi All! It has been a very very long time since I posted to this group. Hope you all are doing well. I'm a pretty erratic exerciser but right now have been doing PiYo for the last couple of weeks. I have some reservations about it but am determined to stick with it for the 60 day program.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone.
Judy

Hi everyone! NoTan4Me, congratulations on achieving your degree. ![]()
Bopper, thanks for that beautiful image of lilacs.
Let's see, Friday April 1 was extremely busy at the office and I came home tired, but managed a 30 minute Margaret Richard workout.
Yesterday, April 2 I did a therapeutic yoga program for the shoulders and arms, and got to the gym for a little treadmill, did a few weight machines, and 20 minutes on the arc trainer.
Happy Sunday to all!

Judy! Good to see you. How are things going? Any trips lately? I've been doing Piyo for a couple of weeks, too, but I'm not following the program as designed. I'm just doing a couple of the workouts during the week.
Hi, Pilates, good job getting in a mix of things.
I did cardio this morning and figured out how to use the back extension machine. I spent some time figuring out what weight to use on some of the others, but I think I've already forgotten, lol
Happy Sunday to all.

BodyGym is my friend. Between that and my yoga stretches, I have looked like Gumby all weekend.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday and thanks again for all the well wishes.
Welcome to all the new and returning posters! Waving at you! ![]()

Nomless - so good to hear from you! Good for you on the PiYo - it's hard! At least for this beginner's beginner as I call myself. I have a hard time doing quite a few of the exercises so modify them to suit me. I'm hoping as time goes on, I'll get the hang of the routines and get stronger. Figure doing something is better than doing nothing and as time goes on, it'll get easier/better.
I do have a trip coming up this Fall. Going to Ireland. This trip is part of my motiviation to get exercising again. There will be lots of walking and I need to be in better shape than I am. My Father was from Ireland and I still have quite a few relatives there so it'll be a fun trip.
Today I did the core workout and whew it's tough. Now off to do laundry and clean house. Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

Hello everyone, I took today off from a formal workokut routine. I got 6 days in this week. I did a lot of shoveling today though. I think we received 7 inches of snow..it's still snowing.
Judy it's so nice to see you again, I remember you talking about your trips, Ireland how wonderful for you!
Nomless glad you figured out the machines, sounds like you will be making some great progress using them.
Now who said Margaret Richards, I've done her for years, was this you Pilates saying you did her?
Laura BodyGym I use almost every day alternating upper and lower. I really like it and my waist is getting smaller.
I watched opening day of baseball today. Not my teams but is opening day! (wink, wink)
Enjoy your evening!

Good evening everyone! Got up this morning and did the upper body PiYo workout. I may be imagining it but when I put my black pants on this morning, they felt like they went on just a tad easier and were a bit more comfortable all day! Just teeny little changes but I'll take it!
Hope everyone had a good day. It's nice to be home and in my jammies.

Good Morning, it's a whopping 5 degrees here and this is Spring? I think NOT! Mama isn't happy! Hahha
I did 2 miles running on the treadmill this morning and about 15 minutes on the Total Gym. Got a good calorie burn.
Hair appt. at 1 today and then will get some groceries as tomorrow we are getting more snow once again. Under an advisory already for tomorrow. This will never end!
Judy good job on the PiYo...and we will take all the little changes that happen. I am still wondering if I would like it. I just can't seem to stick to dvd's. I prefer machines and being outside but maybe.
Nomless are you still liking the machines at the gym?
Waving to all, need to shower and start some laundry!
Have a wonderful day!
