Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

hey- I am so accustomed to reporting nothing that I forget to mention that I walked and did squeeze today. yesterday was a walk, also. I'm trying together out there before those mayflies come In full force - they really can ruin a nice day. They are also warning about a bad tick season. Not only causing Lyme disease but a new disease, too. We see more and more kids needing treatment each year. I get paranoid living in the woods with lots of deer.

Good job, Tony! Glad you're taking advantage of the nice weather. I remember Squeeze, I haven't done it in a long time but I like it. I did 40 min on the bike. My sandals have back straps as well as top straps so they stay put pretty well. Now a cooking lemon chicken and rice in my rice cooker for dinner. Hope it's good!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Morning, just did a little over 3 Miles of walking outside. It's on the cold side 44 and windy but I was good.

Tony it's the football that we don't get, not the baseball. We've got that covered WinkGlad you got a workout in too. I agree on the ticks. Every year it seems worse and worse. DS is all over the place, hard to keep track of him.

NoTan thanks for the link. I"ll check it out. I can just see you hitting yourself in the head LOL {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Nomless I think you are right but I"m not quite sure. My son bought the Roku and hooked it up for us and I believe he bought the subscription to MLB for us. I think...I'll ask him.

Pppmint hoping you have a nice weekend ahead. Anything fun planned?

Okay kids need to shower but you all have a great rest of your day!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Morning everyone!

Stitches are out and house is sold! And it came down to the wire, we just about walked Friday morning if that was the case...lol. They were trying to milk us right up to the wire. Then we went on date night to celebrate...had home-made soup at this little deli in Town Center. We really know how to do it up in style, everyone wants to party with us...lol. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}{#emotions_dlg.laugh} Walked around and went in Anthropologie and Lululemon then came home. We both wanted to see Lucy. I know, I know, we're sick people. We took her walking for a couple of miles and enjoyed that a lot more.Wink

Yesterday we were out and about all over the place...we ran, walked, and biked our tootsies off. Went to a really nice State Park that is just a few miles from our house, it has 19 miles of trails. DH has gone running there before with a group of guys and they're going to start doing Friday Command runs again so that is one of the places they'll use.

The pollen is out of control here! Everything is yellow. We went to the nursery again yesterday after our run, I already went through 60lbs of potting soil and needed more. I think I'm going to do tomatoes and strawberries this week even though I'm allergic to strawberries. But I have the perfect pot for them so want to use it.

Well, today is 'supposed' to be a rest day for me. I want to go out to eat after church, we found some really cool restaurants along the waterfront yesterday that we can bike to from here. You can eat out on the patio right on the water, so peaceful without having to go down to the boardwalk where all the tourists are.

I guess I'll take Lucy out for a stroll before church. I'm glad everyone is doing well, done with my coffee so it's time to roll!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Yea, Patty, that you sold the house and had a great date night .. Including Lucy. LOL. Hope your ear is feeling better. Hi Bopper. Have a good Sunday. I did 50 min on the bike yesterday. In the afternoon, a friend and I went to see another friend who's in a care facility fighting a major illness. They told us she went back to the hospital yesterday morning so we went there, but she wasn't there either. We finally got in touch with the daughter who said she was moved back to the hospital late afternoon. She was between places when we went to visit. I'm glad she's back in hospital, I feel she needs that level of care.

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Oh, my, I'm the first one here today, and I don't have any news. I knew it was going to be cooler today, but the weather has been so nice I walked out forgetting my jacket even though I intended to bring it. It's about 55, but the wind is very strong, so it's quite chilly. Oh, well, I don't have to be out much, it'll be OK.

My foot is hurting today, dang it. I thought it was getting better, not I'm not so sure. Boy, they're not kidding when they say PF takes a long time to heal. So, tonight, I'll be doing more on the bike.

I hope everyone's day is going well.

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Hi I thought I checked in and must have gotten distracted. I have no news either. Did 3 miles on the treadmill because it's cold and rainy out. Rained, drizzled all day and 40, tomorrow snow and rain...

Nomless sorry about your foot, that's crummy. Glad you can substitute the bike though.

Hope the sun comes out later this week!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Hey all, well while the majority of you are planting and mowing grass I am sitting here watching the snow fall. Yes it's in the 30's and snowing...Time to get the Christmas Tree out! LOL

Did a TG workout this morning and 3 miles of walking outside in between drizzle and sleet....pretty crazy.

My GD is spending the night here and I will take her to school in the morning. Her parents both are working very early tomorrow so she will stay with us tonight.

No news here really! Have a good evening!

Re: Welcome to the April Exercise Check In

Hi, Bopper, my, winter doesn't want to let go there, does it? Have fun with DGD tonight. Do you have any baking or other projects planned?

I'm sad today....it's likely that my friend who is ill isn't going to pull through.

I did 45 minutes on the bike last night. I should take a rest day, but I don't know if I will. As usual, I'll decide when I get home. I'd like to take tonight off, but I know I can't do a workout tomorrow, and I hate to miss two days in a row.

Nothing else going on here.
