Patty, Lucy and the turtle.....that's so funny. I wonder why turtles freak her out. Yea that the ceiling is fixed and that you're having fun with friends. It must feel good to be doing normal things. I'm cooking food for the week. Will do TG today. Also watching Greatest American Hero dvds. Fun, campy show.

Hey all, spent today up at camp for a family get together. The lake was beautiful and all the trees are turned. My GD jumped in, and it was cold! Kids don't seem to feel as cold as we do! Logan doesn't like the water, he went out on the dock but he wouldn't go in the water...he had fun though chasing squirrels and chippies..

Pppmint that Lucy, she's a "stitch"....I can see her googly eyes and those big ears when she saw the turtle...too funny. Glad you will be able to spend time with the kids, I bet they are already looking forward to it. I bet you are thrilled the ceiling if finally fixed too. Always seems to be something doesn't it.

Nomless glad you got your cardio done....I still have leaves to take care of...told my GD to come over and jump in, and I'd join her!

FUTURE glad you had a good weekend too and got to relax!

Happy Monday all, this morning it was dark and rainy so I hopped on the treadmill and did 3 Miles...will take Logan later in between the rain...

I like the Sporto TS on the southern channel. Have 1 pair of Sporto and very comfortable and water proof...

Hi, Bopper. It's dark and rainy here, too. Quite a dreary day. It sounds like you had a fun day yesterday with family at the lake. The Sporto boots are cute. I like that brand...I had Sporto duck shoes years and years ago.

I'll miss a workout tonight because I'm going to a friend's house to meet a new cat she brought home today. She's so excited about her new kitty. I'm excited to go meet her.

Hi, all!! I was completely shocked that it wasn't a full moon today--my pts were WILD!! Screaming, sick, griping......I just had to laugh when I got done! I did Pilates for 45 minutes today. I'll be sore tmrw. I hosted girls night for some friends from church last night, so we had leftovers tonight. Love leftovers on a Monday -- especially the WILD mondays! I'm going yo paint my nails this evening and just relax for a bit. I hope you all have a great day!!

Morning, rainy, windy, and in the 40s..........oh well tis the time I guess. This morning I did Treadmill Intervals using the treadmill inclined, free weights, and my TG. About 55 minutes worth...felt good... I am pretty sure I won't be doing any trail with Logan today...

Please pray for my dad, he is having some issues and I am quite concerned...

FUTURE no full moon! Pretty crazy! Glad you got to relax some though last night.

Oh, dear, I've been busy today and haven't had a chance to post. My plan is to do cardio when I get home. I met my friend's new kitty last night. As expected, she's a little freaked by the move, but she's calm and staying hidden. A few quiet purrs now and then, and she had a conversation with the dog (collie) she'll be sharing the house with. Fun.

Bopper, prayers for your dad and for you. I hope he's OK. I'm sorry you have another rainy cold day. Bummer. The good news is no "s" word from you yet.

Hi, Mick. Glad you're finally seeing some signs of autumn....although I have no idea what autumn is like in SoCal.

Our autumn has really fizzled, only a few trees changed color. I feel cheated!

Hey all. Another crazy week, had a colonoscopy yesterday...ay...glad that's over. That cleanse tore me up...was still having "issues" last night! Have guys coming to look in the ceiling and my ducts this afternoon to make sure we don't have mold up there.

I whaled my knee so bad when we were with our friends. We had just toured dh's work building and were running to get in van because it was raining...I jumped and my knee caught the hook to the door. I.went.down. Purse dumped out and everything, they all heard the crack and knew it was probably bad. Meanwhile, I couldn't move and they're stuck out in the rain waiting for me to get out of the way!

bopper, praying for your dad. I know he's had trouble in the past so I'm assuming it's related to that.

nomless, I'm sure the kitty and the collie will become fast friends. Lucy sure gives these two what for...we're still working on that. She got in trouble for head-butting one of them and while daddy was holding her and chewing her out, she leaned in and kissed him...she doesn't care!

MickD, this was a Box turtle. We're surrounded by water where we live so we see quite a few, it's the one thing that totally freaks her out...haha! She'll go after a fox, a deer, a 100-lb dog, a horse, etc., but turtles scare her to death! I was the big turtle rescuer down in FL. Had "turtle gloves" in my car, would stop traffic, don my gloves, and get out and carry the turtle to the other side of the road. Some were huge snapping turtles too. DH did the same thing, he got injured once climbing over the median.

Anyway, need to get going...heading to gym. Not sure if I'll just do weights or throw in some cardio...maybe just take Lucy on a quick run before the rain. The past two days took a lot out of me with that cleanse, haven't been able to eat much and we all know my body doesn't do well without food. I lose my mojo and it isn't all in my head, felt very weak last night. And oddly enough, I still don't feel hungry.

Morning all, another rainy dark day here and windy. Just got home from grocery shopping. Stores were very busy..not sure what the deal is. I thought being it was so dark nobody would be out much yet, but they were!

Logan treed a grey squirrel when I just let him out..he's running around the tree trunk barking and following the squirrel tree branch to tree branch...prancing around the trees...he can't quite understand why he can't be up there chasing that thing

Pppmint sorry about your fall and hurting yourself....ouch! Hope you're alright! No dad's issue isn't the same thing but thank you for the prayers, we can use them..

Nomless I bet the kitty and collie are adorable together...what a cute combination that is. Our Fall is about done too, all the leaves are almost down now and being so windy the last couple of days they will probably be all done by the end of the week.

MickD glad it is finally starting to cool off by you....must feel great! Have fun on the trails!
