This morning I did my TG/ some free weights and some Pilates...will walk Logan after lunch.

Nomless I miss Pppmint too....I hope you see this and check in with us...we all miss Lucy stories and all your informative information you have passed on to us....I miss you {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hi, everyone. I hope it's a good day for you. I'm back at work today. It's late afternoon, and I'm getting sleepy.

I think I'll to TG today. I really need to hit weights more often, I know that. I'm trying to get psyched to do it. I raised the TG glide board, so it will be hard, but I'll just do it!

H, Bopper, I'm glad you have a sunny day.

Hi to Future and MickD and all our friends. Have a fun evening.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

TG done. I did OK at the higher level. The hardest exercises were the iron cross and pullovers. I think those work the chest. I had to do fewer reps. I think it goes along with pushups being hard for me. Weak chest muscles, I think.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hi everyone!

Oh boy, this Lucy has been something!!! Spent 5 hours with her in the ER vet Sunday night, and what a pistol she was there....had the entire waiting room laughing. Her daddy went over to pet a Yorkie and she chewed him out like you wouldn't believe, there is no mistaking what her barks mean. Then she was annoyed with every other dog there...one Pit Bull in particular couldn't look at her or she'd chew him out...I even tried hiding her behind some plants and everyone could hear her still growling! She's terrible...lol!!! Anyway, we believe she ate something like a mushroom that caused all the throwing up, and the throwing up bothered her throat which caused her to keep acting like she had something stuck in her throat!{#emotions_dlg.blink}{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Then Monday morning we were attacked while out on our run...dog broke loose but fortunately I already had Lucy in my arms, so just hoisted her above my head and turned circles as the dog was leaping in the air trying to bite her. The dog was not friendly and wasn't playing around. The owner was mortified and shaking so I had to calm her down.

Still have my living room all taped up with the Ebola tent(it even has a zipper so you can walk in and out). They got the mold all ripped away and special cleaners put on it. Now the contractor is repairing the big hole(had to remove a lot more than the first hole) in the ceiling...then will have to repaint, etc.

And, oh, btw, I have company coming this weekend...lol...have to laugh or I'd lose my mind!!!

Glad everyone is doing well!!! It's pretty crazy here, but I'm learning that that is just our "norm". Things going on with Dh's job that I can't write about, house all ripped apart with the mold issue, Lucy sick, DS up and down, social events, aaaccccckkk...Calgon take me away...lol!!!

Anyway, heading out for some exercise...doing a new program, DH has the PT so I'm following some of his training principles, trying to anyway, I don't always listen{#emotions_dlg.blush}.

Oh...Lucy and I got stopped by the "po-po" on the bike...haha...have to wear a helmet on base at all times. As we were driving away after the guy finished talking, Lucy gave him a stern "YAP" to let him know just what she thought...he laughed and gave her a warning.{#emotions_dlg.laugh} Now anytime she's naughty, we tell her we're going to call the Po-Po because she already has a warning and she might end up in the hoosgow!{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Waving to everyone!!!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hey all, it's a chilly sprinkley day here with peaks of sun...typical Fall weather. Got all the grocery shopping done and a couple other errands. Will walk in about an hour with Logan on the trail..

Pppmint I am so happy you posted,,,I have been quite concerned. Glad everything is going good for you despite all of Little Lucy's shenanigans. Glad she is alright...she sure keeps you hopping....hopefully the ceiling will be fixed soon....just gotta roll with it I guess right? Still praying for DS and hoping he is on an even keel...keeping DH in prayer as well with the way this country is going...What is the new program you are doing?

Logan has a groomer appointment tomorrow. He'll be mad at me but he needs to be de-shedded again...he is so full of loose hair. I just can't get it all off with the brush...he isn't fond of being brushed either...

nomless hope your day at work is going good for you...

Hoping to see others posting soon..kind of quiet here.

Have a wonderful day!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Patty, will Lucy need to wear a helmet, too? LOL. I bet she'd look cute in a helmet. She sounds like she's the ruler of her world, for sure, exerting her influence to keep other life forms (human and otherwise) in line. It's so funny that it's the little ones who have so much spunk.

Bopper, enjoy your walk with Logan.

I'll do cardio tonight....as long as the weird guy isn't there!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

I'm here! Sorry, so busy. I have been slacking in my workouts, but trying to at least a little every day. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo ready for cooler weather -- 90 here yesterday! I could pull my hair out! I'm ready to get outside, but I am just done with the heat AND humidity. Tmrw am I'll go to spin. I might do a double tmrw and go again in the evening, since it won't have time to Thursday. Ok, I need to finish up some laundry and chill a little bit. I'll try to check in more tmrw. Have a nice evening.

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Morning, 45 here and cloudy, sprinkley out.

Did 21 Day Fix Lower Body today....plan on walking while Logan is at his grooming appointment if it isn't raining. She said it would take about 2 hours...so I can also visit with my dad.

nomless hope your day is going alright for you...and hope no weirdo at the gym....yikes!

Pppmint Hi and waving to you and Lucy!

Re: Welcome to The October Exercise Thread

Hi everyone! Not in the mood to run today....but jogged and walked for 50 minutes on the trail...had the triple whammy of sciatica, foot pain and a shin splint...all on the left foot/leg....cripe what a mess.....it wasn't pretty but I go it done.
