Our local stations have NE-Minnesota and Detroit-Carolina. I'll be watching Detroit. That could be an interesting game. The Lions have all kinds of weapons. Cam Newton needs to play well.

I chose San Diego in my football picks. Almost everyone is favoring Seattle, but I'm thinking this could be an upset. I've seen the Chargers play flawless football (often against the Colts), and when they're focusing on all cylinders, they can be tough. It's just an instinct that I have about this game. Not to take anything away from Seattle, but the Chargers could sneak in a win if Seattle isn't careful.

my s/o is a chargers fan but even HE thinks they are going to lose!

Re: Week Two of the NFL Regular Season!!!

I wouldn't count out the Chargers, Seattle's a different team on the road. At home they're unbeatable, but on the road they become much more mortal.

RGIII dislocated his ankle which seems to be a three month plus injury, so his year is done. DeSean Jackson has a bruised AC joint in his shoulder. He says this feels worse than the one he had in Philly. I believe he missed two or three weeks with that injury in Philly. Knowshon Moreno dislocated his elbow. Tavon Austin of the Rams looks to have injured his knee rather badly. Lots and lots of injuries around the league this week.

Jacksonville may just earn that first overall pick in this year's draft. That's a miserably bad team. I'm thinking you'll see Blake Bortles as quarterback of the Jags before too much longer. Chad Henne isn't really the problem in Jacksonville, but given how high a pick they're likely to end up with this year, finding out if Bortles has the skills to be your guy now, makes some sense. They'll want to know if they've got their QB or if they still need to get him. I was hoping we'd see a dramatic improvement in the Jags this year, but they seem to have regressed instead of progressed. They finished last year 4-4 over the last eight games, but given how they're playing now they'd be lucky to win four games out of sixteen. They just look bad. It could be a short tenure for the Gus Bradley era in Jacksonville.

The poor dumb Jets. They call a timeout just before their QB throws the game tying touchdown. They then end up losing the game. They might want to sneak back into NY tonight. I'm thinking the Jets fans won't be overly friendly right now. It was a creative way to lose a game though, I'll give them credit for that.

Hey Tegan......

San Diego has a fiesty QB and is a fiesty team.....they are better then people think and are a good team and very dangerous.......I ALMOST picked the Chargers for my picks, but the Hawks looked so good the other night I went ahead and selected them and you see the results {#emotions_dlg.laugh} You seem to have good instincts Tegan.....

Robert said he escaped a tackle and his foot got caught in the turf.....and Fed Ex has been criticized for having a lousy field.....But there are quite a few look at the half baseball/half football field in Oakland.....and Clowney blamed his injury on the turf at NG Stadium in Houston....

My sister's Giants lost again ...... And what happened to those Lions--- all that talent...!!!!

Figgy's Bengals won again....{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

i was watching both the browns game AND the redskins game......both great to watch, but i swear that team seemed to come alive when cousins was in the game......and all of those sacks against the jags didnt hurt either! it is hard to know if the redskins looked good (which they did) or the jags looked so BAD (which they did)! LOL

i was hoping for a browns loss of course, but that was a nice last minute field goal by billy cundiff!

Sunshine I totally concur about the Redskins BOTH the offense and even the defense seemed to come to life under Cousins ...... I know we played the Jags who have been notoriously bad....but there seemed to be a certain spark!!!! Cousins looked very comfortable in Gruden's offense....now I only saw it on red zone and didn't get to the entire game...but what I saw the team looked good!

Kerrigan came to life I was hoping he would do that against the Texans last week with me in attendance....{#emotions_dlg.laugh}
