CONGRATS on your win ..... perhaps the Raiders got inspired with Ray Guy getting his Hall Of Fame ring and all the Raider greats in attendance....

And it's game day!!!! Some pretty good games on the air locally today. We start out with the Eagles and Tennessee. Hopefully that's a nice stress-free easy win for the Eagles. (Ha! Like that will happen!) Then we've got the Seahawks/Cards or Broncos/Dolphins before ending the day with the Cowboys/Giants.
The key for the Eagles today is to avoid the big, dumb mistakes. Take the heart out of Tennessee early and turn it into a rout. Last week we had four turnovers and giving the ball to Aaron Rodgers four times more than necessary is a recipe for disaster. Zach Mettenberger will ultimately be a pretty good quarterback, but let's exploit him now while he's still learning the game. Get lots of pressure on him, force him into mistakes and put this game away early. This is a big game for Mark Sanchez. He needs to show everyone that he's better than he played last week. Statistically he wasn't horrible, but the turnovers were deadly.
I'm hoping the Giants can pull the upset tonight. The Cowboys sound like they might be taking this game a bit for granted. They seem to be talking more about Thursday's game than today's, so we'll have to see what happens. I'm hoping Eli doesn't give the ball to the Cowboys five times. If he has a turnover free game then the Giants have a good shot at winning. The Giants tight end (Donnell?) is playing well and those Cowboy linebackers seem to have issues covering the tight end. If they rotate a safety up to help then that should open up the deep field for O'Dell Beckham. The big question is will the Giants defense show up to play. If they don't then nothing else will matter too much. It should be a fun game to watch anyway. These nationally televised games tend to wake up the lesser teams a bit, so maybe the Giants can rally here and make a stand.
It should be a fun day of football watching.

Getting the team there was quite a production as most of them live near the stadium but couldn't get out. Snowmobiles to the rescue! I can't even imagine the logistics of getting everyone out, but they are and finally got to practice last night for the first time. There is no telling how the game will be, but if any one lives in the Detroit area, go to the game, tickets are free, and cheer for my Bills, ok!
WOW!!! That sounds like y'all had quite a major major snow storm...and who would've thought that snowmobiles would save the day to get the team out of Buffalo and on to Detroit....crazy crazy weather......On the NFL Network they showed folks digging out Ralph Wilson stadium and they said hopefully in time for the next game ..... that looked like whole lot of snow......
Stay safe and warm Sheltie Mom and GO BILLS!!!!

Since Cowboys play Sunday Night we get the Lions/Pats or Bengals/Texans and then Dolphins/Broncos.....
On the NFL Network their insider said that Gruden has been given the thumbs up by Washington Brass (aka Snyder/Allen) to criticize and even bench Robert......so its come down shut up and play for RG3.....Also the special privileges for Robert's wife and family (they had access to areas other player's family did not) have been revoked.....I like this direction....

Hawks better keep it together today, or they're pretty much out of the running for that "repeat" they talk about. They've already lost one game here at home, and it certainly could happen again today. Got my fingers crossed, but not really confident about this one, darn it!

gardenman...I'm a Buffalo girl so thanks for having some faith in the Buffalo Bills!! Yes...we've been like caged animals stuck in the house with our epic snowfall but, thankfully, the Bills got out of here and will play the Jets tomorrow night in Detroit. Kyle O. started out really well but hasn't looked too great the last couple of games. Let's hope he found his mojo again and we can get a win out of this one! Go Bills!! Reva

The Eagles got their win today despite Sanchez making some bad throws. He's got to clean those kinds of throws up against better teams, luckily the Titans aren't a better team. When Sanchez misses he misses high and when you miss high there's usually a safety lurking back there to pick off the ball. On to Dallas now for Thanksgiving!!! That should be a fun game.

The Colts were off to a bad start, but eventually got it together. and won 23-3. The first half, Luck was sacked 4 times, and both quarterbacks threw interceptions.
Later, T.Y. Hilton scored a touchdown, Cribbs had a good game, and Moncrief did well as RB. It helped that Houston lost. The problem is that the O-line struggles. If this was another team rather than the Jaguars, it would have been difficult. Oh well, a win is a win. I'll still take it.

Well, the Seahawks came through today, 19-3 against Arizona. They looked really good today, but the rest of their schedule is formidable......it will be rough, to say the least.
