Week Twelve of the NFL Regular Season!!!

Where does the season go? Twelve weeks in already?

We've got three Thursday games this week. The first game is the Packers at the Lions. This should be a pretty good game. Even when the Lions are bad they play well on Thanksgiving, but I don't think they have enough to match Aaron Rodgers. I'll give the Packers the edge in this game. But, it should be a good game.

Next up is Miami at Dallas. On paper this is a mismatch and Dallas should win easily. But, my gut says this will be a Dallas loss. Miami is playing pretty well now and this is likely their only chance at a nationally televised game, so I suspect they're going to want to make a statement. I dont know how they're going to do it, or why I'm even thinking they'll do it, but my gut says the Dolphins pull this one out. They almost beat the Giants a few weeks ago and I just think they'll find a way to win this game.

And the night game is San Francisco at Baltimore. I'm giving the edge to Baltimore here, but they've been a bit up and down and if they're down then this could be a win for San Francisco. I don't think they'll be down this week though. I'nm giving the edge to Baltimore. Traveling east is never easy for the west coast teams.

On to the Sunday Games. Minnesota goes to Atlanta. This should be an easy win for Atlanta.

Cleveland goes to Cincinnati. I've got to give this game to Cincinnati.

Carolina goes to Indianapolis. We could see Indy pull out their first win this year here, but I think they''ll wait another week or two. I'm giving the edge to Carolina. I think the Colts will surprise a good team down the road.

Houston goes to Jacksonville. I've got to give the edge to Houston. The quarterback issue is scary for Houston, but Matt Leinert isn't a bad quarterback. I think Houston should win.

Buffalo goes to the Jets. Identical records and both teams are in a bit of a slump. All things being equal I'm giving a slight edge to the home team and favoring the Jets.

Arizona goes to Saint Louis. I don't have a good feel here either way. If I had to pick, I'd go with the Cardinals.

Tampa Bay at Tennessee. I like Tennessee and what they're doing this year. I'll give them the edge here.

Chicago goes to Oakland. I've got to give the edge to Oakland. The Bears are in big trouble with Cutler out with the broken thumb. They could very easily lose out the rest of the way.

Washington goes to Seattle. Seattle's not a good team, but Washington's worse. I think Seattle will win this one.

The Patriots come to Philadelphia. The Eagles need to win and the Eagles are built to defend a team with multiple receiving options, but I think we'll lose. (I'm hoping we win, but stopping Welker and Gronkowski is a huge challenge.) The Eagle's defense is playing better and better each week and the Eagles offense has the capability of scoring at will, so the game should be competitive, but I've just got a bad feeling about this game.

Denver goes to San Diego. I'm no longer picking against Denver. I don't know how Tim Tebow is doing it, but he's willing the Broncos to win. I'm going with Denver.

Pittsburgh goes to Kansas City. This should be an easy win for Pittsburgh.

And finally the Giants go to New Orleans. The Giants have a long history of collapsing in the second half of the season. That loss to the Eagles last week may be a tipping point in their season. I don't see the Giants being able to contain Drew Brees and the Saints offense. I'm giving this one to the Saints.

Fly!!! Eagles!!! Fly!!!
