Week Seven of the NFL Regular Season!!!

Week seven kicks off tonight with Seattle at Arizona. Seattle's beatable on the road, but not by the Cardinals. I'll take Seattle here.

Tampa Bay goes to Atlanta. Atlanta's not playing well, but they should beat Tampa. I'll take Atlanta.

Saint Louis goes to Carolina. Anyone have a coin? These two teams can look great one week and horrible the next. I guess I''ll pick Carolina simply because they're home.

Cincinnati goes to Detroit. This could be a pretty entertaining game. I'll give a slight edge to Detroit.

San Diego goes to Jacksonville. I'll take anyone over Jacksonville, so San Diego gets the nod.

Buffalo goes to Miami. I'll take the Dolphins here, but it should be a close game.

The Patriots play the Jets. I've got to take the Patriots here.

The Cowboys come to Philly. The Cowboys are a bit beat up and likely to be one dimensional. The Eagles defense has done pretty well against one dimensional teams. I'm picking the Eagles here. I expect this to be a high scoring game. Jason Witten is likely to have a big game. If the Eagles win, this would be the first home win since September of last year. The hometown fans are overdue. I think we'll see a new wrinkle or two from the
Chip Kelly playbook this week and next. It looks like James Casey (fullback/tight end/wide receiver) is finally healthy and up to speed on the offense. He can create matchup nightmares for a defense. Go with a base defense and he can move out wide and end up being covered by a safety or linebacker who can't stay with him. Go to a nickel or dime package and he can stay in and be an effective lead blocker for LeSean McCoy running over the smaller defensive backs. He's a unique player when healthy and he's finally getting healthy.

Chicago goes to Washington. The Redskins are playing better and need this win, but Chicago's just too good. I've got the Bears winning this one. (The Redskin fanbase may be getting a touch hostile if the Redskins lose this game.)

San Francisco goes to Tennessee. I think this game will be close. the Titans defense is playing well these days. I've got a feeling the Niners could lose Kaepernick in this game, but I'm still picking the Niners to eke out the win. An upset here wouldn't shock me though.

Cleveland goes to Green Bay. I'll take the Packers.

Houston goes to KC. I've got to take the Chiefs at home. The Texans are a mess.

Baltimore goes to Pittsburgh. This should be fun. The Steelers can claw their way back into the race with a win here. Will they win? I'll take a chance on the Steelers pulling off the upset here. I'll take the Steelers in a low scoring, hard fought game.

Denver goes back to Indianapolis. Peyton goes back home. These are two good teams that both have some issues. The question is, can the Colts stop the Broncos one more time than the Broncos can stop the Colts.? I don't think so. I'll take the Broncos in a high scoring game.

And finally, the Vikings play the Giants. Josh Freeman is getting the start for the Vikings. The Giants have no running game. Their offensive line is a joke. The Vikings should be able to pressure Eli early and often and Eli doesn't respond well to pressure. I'm not confident in this pick, but I'll say that Adrian Peterson has a big game on the national stage and the Vikings upset the Giants at home. I have no idea what to expect from Josh Freemen, but he should be able to hand the ball off, and then occasionally sneak in a play action pass deep on the Giants who will likely cheat their safeties up to try and stop Peterson. I'll take the Vikings.

Fly!!! Eagles!!! Fly!!!
