And the first game up is the New York Jets at the Buffalo Bills. I'm thinking this will be a win for the Bills. The Jets really, really need the win, but I'm just not that impressed by the Jets this year and the Bills have a lot of good momentum on their side. I don't think it will be a blowout, but I see the Bills pulling out the win.
The next game is Seattle at Dallas. Seattle is really, really bad this year and Dallas should win easily. Dallas should be playing hard after their loss on Sunday night. I've got Dallas winning this game. (If they don't then it's going to be a long last half of the season for the Cowboys.)
Next up is Cleveland at Houston. I think Cleveland is on the right track now, but they're a year or two behind Houston. Houston should win this game.
Atlanta goes to Indianapolis. Give this one to Atlanta. Indy could win, but they're just not competing this year. I thought we might see some life out of them last week, but they didn't show a lot. Atlanta should win this one pretty easily.
Miami goes to Kansas City. KC is playing good football now and Miami is desperately trying to lose out. (They threw away a 15 point lead to Denver two weeks ago and then laid down last week against the Giants in the fourth quarter.) KC should win easily.
Tampa Bay goes to New Orleans. New Orleans is looking more and more beatable, but I think they'll handle Tampa Bay.
San Francisco goes to Washington. The Redskins are on the verge of imploding in a big way and I don't see them beating the 49ers. This should be a pretty easy road win for the Niners. West coast teams heading East typically have issues, but the Redskins are a mess.
Denver plays Oakland. Which quarterback is going to be the least bad? Tim Tebow or Carson Palmer? I'm betting Carson Palmer will be less bad and the Raiders will win.
Cincinnati goes to Tennessee. This should be a good game. Both teams are playing pretty well. I'd give a slight edge to Tennessee.
Saint Louis goes to Arizona. Kevn Kolb has a bad turf toe and may, or may not be playing. Bradford of the Rams is likely to be playing. I don't have a great feel for this game. If I had to pick I'd give the slightest edge to the Cardinals playing at home.
The Giants go to New England to play the Patriots. I think the Giants will get spanked pretty badly by the Patriots. The Patriots will be looking to atone for their loss to Pittsburgh and the Giants just don't match up well with the Patriots' weapons.
Green Bay goes to San Diego. This should be a pretty easy win for Green Bay. San Diego is having some confidence issues and they're not playing good football right now. The Packers are just too good for them.
Baltimore goes to Pittsburgh. This will be a violent game. The Ravens spanked the Steelers the first time around this year and I'm pretty sure every Steeler circled this rematch on their calendar. I think the Ravens are going to get more than they can handle from the Steelers.
And finally on Monday night the Bears come to Philly. The Eagles are playing very good football right now and I expect them to win. The Bears need a big game out of Forte this week. They have to control the time of possession and keep the ball from the Eagles to have a good shot to win. I don't think they'll be able to do it. Containing Devin Hester is the big key for the Eagles. This is one of those games where having a rookie punter (like the Eagles do) makes things a bit scary.
