Has anyone bought eyeglasses from this company?  Had an eye exam there?  Pros/cons?

TIA for any info.

My two daughters went there this week and got prescription glasses for 95 dollars. They were very happy with quality of glasses and styles.

They did go to Target for the eye exam, so I am not sure how the exam is there. They seem to be happy with company.

They let you "borrow" through the mail up to 5 Pairs to try on at home.  Then you mail them back with their prepaid mailer and you can decide on a pair of frames.

I go to my regular optometrist for an exam and prescription and have gotten frames from WP.  I have my optometrist measure for the lenses and they have the glasses made for me since I have progressive lenses.

My kids have had their glasses made by WP and have been satisfied.

My son gets his glasses there and is very happy but he goes into their store.  He also wears only single vision glasses. I had thought about getting glasses there but I am not near a store so I would have to order them by mail. As I wear progressives it seemed like it would be problematic. They are very friendly and helpful when you call them. Great customer service and lots of frames for all face sizes and shapes!

Thanks all.  I would go into the store since I have one nearby.  Have not been happy with LensCrafters the last couple of times I went there so will try WP. for an exam and progressive lens glasses.  I also see they accept various insurance.

I ordered my progressives online from Warby Parker in 2013 and they've been great.

Did their free Home Try-On for the frames first.

I bought a pair from them and I regretted it. The frames they offer are limited in sizes (I need short temples and bending didn't do enough). I also thought the quality of the lens was sub-par. Even Costco glasses are better than WP in my opinion. That said, many folks do like WP.

My husband and I buy our glasses at Costco and they are the best and most inexpensive glasses we have ever had. I have been wearing glasses for 35 years.

I have had eye exams and purchased glasses several times from Warby Parker in NYC.  I have been more than satisfied with the exam, and the frames. I agree they do not have a huge selection of frames, but I have always managed to find a frame that I was happy with.  And I wear progressive lenses....I used to pay several hundred dollars more at a private optical store than I pay for them at Warby Parker.  Terrific return  guarantee that you will be happy and warantee

One of my good girlfriends purchased her glasses from WP and was very pleased with them. I had intended to use them for my glasses, but I needed my prescription quickly, so I just ended up purchasing from my eye doctor. I will give them a chance on my next prescription.

The flip side of that is that my aunt wears progressives and she always purchases from Costco and has been very pleased, with the selection and prices.
