For anyone interested, the quarterly wellness day put on by Walmart pharmacies nationally is scheduled for Saturday January 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  It is wise to get there early because if it is too successful they turn people away by around noon.  You can get a few freebies in addition to free bloodwork screening for diabetes and most also do free cholesterol testing, too, along with blood pressure plus BMI calculations.  It is a great way to keep up on your readings.  Check with your local Walmart if you are interested and verify it is happening and what test they will offer.

Even though I have full medical coverage....I used to go to the Wellness clinics at Sam's. After years of doing this and appreciating the perk (a quick brief check-up), they sadly no longer offer the clinic (cost cutting).  I'm happy to hear similar options are available at Walmart's.  Thanks!

I just called my local WalMart to confirm date and time.  At this WalMart the date will be the 11th  at 10:30.  So you might want to check your store for the schedule. @Havarti  appreciate this post.

@Mary Bailey   I, of course, don't know your work schedule.  But the Walmart near me is scheduling for Saturday instead of Sunday.  I don't know if this makes a difference, but you might want to check your local store for the date and time.  Good luck!

My Advantage Plan (Medicare) offers this as well with my primary care physician. Before I retired, my employer offered this at my workplace - it was a great benefit and it was amazing how many signed up for it. Get it wherever you can!

I wish my local Walmart wasn't a roach-collecting stye, it's scary from the parking, let alone IN the store.

It's dirty, dank, stock that has fallen all over the floor, opened food packages with bugs enjoying a free meal, staffed by rude and unhelpful employees and the checkout is the pits, then back out to the ever-so-dangerous parking lot.

I went there twice, learned it was the same exact experience - so for me - never again.

But I wish I could, sounds like a really cool offer!

Thank you both so much for catching the error in date on my original post.  It would be a shame if people missed it because of my error.  I made the correction to my original post.  Thank you both again for letting me know so I could correct it from the Sunday 12th to the 11th on Saturday.
