I walk 1 mile Monday-Friday. It takes me 20 minutes. Moderation works for me!

I don't walk every day (but I am very active, working full time), but I try to get out 3-4 times a week. I walk 4 miles very briskly and it takes an hour. I like to do other forms of exercise, but when the weather is nice, I like to take advantage of getting outdoors. If I'm stuck indoors I have a collection exercise dvd's that I do.

I also have Roku and I've seen some exercise channels there that I would like to check out "someday".

I consider fitness my preventive medicine for so many things, including depression.

I walk 1.5 miles at least every day; some days (three times a week) I walk 5 miles. I do fast walk and like to get the 1.5 miles done under 24 minutes. The 3.5 mile walk is about an hour to hour and 10 minutes.

I have begun a regular walker since July of 2013 and have never felt better. I highly recommend regular walking, especially at my age (59). In my twenties I did run; issues with hip pointers and knees required me to look for other exercise. Love to walk!

I walk a mile every evening. I love it. I really wish I could take my little schnauzer. But there is so many loose dogs in my neighborhood. I am afraid for her. She thinks she is a big dog and acts like a big dog when she sees them. Barking and snarling. Little brat LOL

I do Insanity. And I weight train. Both 6 days a week.

Walking isn't intense enough for me. I like definition to my muscles. And I like a challenge when working out.

When I'm being "good" (lol), I walk 4 miles a day around a local lake. I don't ever time myself, but I would guess it takes between 30-45 minutes.

This depends on whether I'm walking alone or with a friend. I think it takes longer when I walk with my friend who likes to use the time to talk more so than work up a light sweat or finish quickly.

That's not walking...that's jogging! It's tough to speed walk faster than 4 miles an hour.

Thank you! I was feeling inadequate because it takes me about 28-32 mins. to walk 2 miles at my park. A friend told me she walked the 2 miles in 20 mins. and I said she must be jogging.

When I walk on the treadmill, I can't get above 4 miles per hour without actually jogging. My trainer said that is average for most women.

I try to get in 6, 3 mile walks a week. I do a brisk walk and can do those 3 miles in an hour. Any faster for me would be jogging and I don't jog LOL. We have a river front city park and that is where I do most of my walking, just a beautiful place. I am not looking forward to the snow/ice that we get every year, then I do my exercising in our gym.

I walk my dog everyday. A dog is a great incentive for walking. She stares at me if we don't go for our walk. We walk about 30 minutes in the neighborhood. I swim a mile everyday, so walking is not my main exercise, but I like it very much. I listen to free NPR podcasts while I walk.

We walk in all kinds of weather except heavy rain or if it is below zero. When I was teaching I would take the dog to school in the evening and walk the hallways on those below zero days, but I can't do that since retirement.

I should walk faster (better health benefits), but I try to do 3 miles as often as possible. Sometimes it's every day, sometimes just a few times/week. But I need the sunshine and the movement. Sometimes it's a slower walk b/c I often meet a friend and we might go farther, say, 4 miles, but slower. When I'm by myself I tend to walk faster.

Now that I'm retired I love walking at sunrise each day, usually for 1 hour. I try to walk again in the late afternoon for the same amount of time. I love walking/exercising. It keeps me sane.
