And if you're of the age for which the new Shingles shots are recommended, do not hesitate about getting the series of two. (Either the first or second can be done at the same time as the flu shot).  Having watched several people suffer with Shingles 

(it's very prevalent in my late husband's family), I can tell you that you never want to experience it,  You suffer the worst pain imaginable, and in some cases there are after effects.

I have a doctor friend and he said don't waste your money on Tamiflu, it only shortens it by one day.

Heard on the news last week that this yrs isn't going to be effective against the strains out there.
