Laura has not left the building. 

I have to go back to the eye doctor next month to scan a wrinkle in my eye. Never heard of such a thing and they are super unconcerned about it but they want it on file just in case. 

Oh and my s$#! was good.  Cologuard loved me.

Almost ready to blow the work joint and get done with this day. Hope everyone has had a good one.

Hi everyone!  I've been really busy today, so just now getting here.  No workout today but I have another dress rehearsal tonight.  I don't like the late nights because I don't fall asleep very easily.

It is still miserably hot here.  They are forcasting 100 degrees.  My watch says 95, so we're close.  I try not to walk the dogs in the afternoon because it cannot be good for them.

My trainer and his wife had their baby on Friday--everyone is healthy, but I have to talk to the kid about his timing--I expected him to arrive so that I would not have to work out that week . . .

@Laura14 I keep asking about cologard and for some reason, can't get that kit.  I'm in the same boat--I would have to have my friend take off work and I felt bad enough asking her to do that when I had cancer surgery.

Not much else to report--getting ready to wrap up work for the day.  Hope you all had a good long weekend!

@DrKelli Your doctor should request it. Mine said it's good for three years. Super easy. They literally drop it at your front door and, when complete, you can call UPS to pick it up or drop it off yourself at a UPS store. There is no reason to be denied, unless you are high risk, that they shouldn't make that available to you. It's covered by insurance.

Hi Everyone!

I'm dying here in the City by the Bay.  It was 102 yesterday and right now at 2:05pm it is 101.  I do not have air conditioning.  The whole Bay Area is just cooking.  My poor kitty is not happy and I worry about him in this heat.  Working from home today but have to go in the office tomorrow.   Supposed to only be 90 tomorrow but they said it was only going to be 95 today and it's already 101 so I'm thinking tomorrow will be closer to 95.  Ugh!  

Where is that Bay Area fog?!  I'm doing as little as possible, have fans going 24/7, windows open all night and then close everything up about 8:00am.  Inside my house right now it's 85.  Guess it could be worse in here.  

@Laura14 - a "wrinkle" in your eye?  Did they say macular hole?  Is it in your retina?  Just curious, you don't have to tell more than you are comfortable with.  Please take care of it though.  Do you notice a differnce in your vision?  I"m asking too many questions.  Sorry.

@DrKelli - Sorry you have this awful heat too.  Was watching the news and it said that the "heat dome" spreads all over the western US.  Guess we're sharing the same heat. LOL

@JudyL Not at all. I love when people ask questions because if I am being lied to or downplayed, I need to know.

It's to the bottom of my macular thing. That's my technical speak 😂 but basically it's away from that about an inch down. It's "glistening" which the OD said is probably a wrinkle.

Whatever he is going to do in October will confirm that. He said there is no need to worry but he wants a baseline in case it moves towards the macular thing which can cause problems with vision. Everything looks super healthy to him right now. Thank you Andrew Lessman eye support. 🙏🏻

He seemed really nice and knowledgable and I really liked this new place. But if he is a flake cause you know better, I am all eyes. 👀

Tuesday Toning Day!   Today was an hour on the reformer and it went from not to hard to challenging.   All over total body!

I guess I shouldn't say it was 47 here this morning.   Now it's 70

@Laura14  glad your  poo test came back ok.  I hate having a colonoscopy!  My hubby will drive me and if he can't my sister would also.

Football start Thursday holy cow!

It's 906 day here in the UP and my grandson turns 5 today.  Our 906 baby!

@Laura14 - make sure you follow-up no matter how much of a pain in the backside it is.  Remember when I had the macular hole surgery in my right eye in 2018?  Think I was posting in this forum then.  It's good to have baseline for follow up and if you notice any changes.  Get it checked and follow up when the Dr says too.  I'll be on you like bees on honey if you don't Missy.

Thank you @JudyL ! This really made my morning. 10/10 at 8am is my be there appointment date. I didn't realize this was that important to watch. My eyesight thanks you. I really appreciate my virtual village. ❤️

Happy Hump Day! 

I have made my 150 activity points for the week already. Did a run and some yoga this morning. I feel like I have been running for over a week now. With no appointments left until next month, I'll have to remember what a true work day looks like. 

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! I'll take some of that cool weather too. We've been hovering around 90 down here. It's Fall. It should act like it. 😂
