Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Off day for me today. I had doctor appt for me and for dh's aunt. Glad that's done...it was one crazy driver after another to dodge. I think auntie was quite nervous of my driving and can't say I blame her. Lol.

@JudyL

Sorry to read about your sleeping problems. I hate when I get in that cycle of no sleep/no energy. I hope you can get some good rest tonight.

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Hey all, today is still cool and rainy.  Only 54 all day here, and misting.

Today I did 45 minutes on the reformer using a band for some of it, and Pilates chair.  It's hard to get motivated sometimes but I always get through it and feel better later for doing so.

@Laura14  Football In America!!  Go Lions!!

@JudyL not sleeping night after night is so hard!!  I'm lucky I sleep like 8-9 hours a night and some nights don't even go bathroom.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 60's.  All next week 60's.

I cut my finger good today, reached into the bathroom drawer for a brush and hit a razer, took a good chunk off.

Well lets watch some Football/Baseball!!

@bopper  - OUCH!  The story about your finger made me cringe.  Hope it heals quickly.

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper  Ouch! Hope the cut is better today. You can console yourself with smiles as  your Lions had a big win last night. Was a good game!!Football is back and our family is big fans of the sport.

@kate2357  Glad to hear Jack is moving forward literally- sounds like it's all going well. And you are getting back to doing what you love.. running etc.

@JudyL - may sleep return to you.  I dont' ever get a full 8 hours.. but do feel rested when I get up.. Its hard to navigate during the day when tired..

And I will continue with my whining about my hip.. New theory I have  is its a bursitis.  I have PT today and will ask what she thinks.. Yesterday, by evening, I was not a happy camper.

I am telling myself this a rest day.. I might get a pedi... that'll keep me seated for awhile.

Have a good weekend.. It's my grandson's 5th bday party on Sun.. Will be wild I'm sure!! HA!

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning, everyone!

@bopper, I hope you took that uncovered razor blade out of the drawer....hope it heals fast.  And I don't think I've ever in my adult life not gotten up in the middle of the night to answer nature's call.

@DrKelli, it's difficult to plan any events these days with such unpredictable weather.  My son in Georgia wants me to let him know when I'm gonna keep my promise and visit.  I had said September but now that September is here, I'm thinking about these storms that come up in September and October.  Winter is not an option.

Glad everyone is doing pretty well.  Sounds like Jack is adapting pretty well.

Anybody ever buy Chik Fil A's kale salad?  I could see myself eating it everyday!  Fortunately, there isn't one close enough to me to get one.  Not real far but me being me don't want to drive that far for just that.

Yesterday, I went for my quarterly teeth cleaning and the first thing my hygienist asked  me was "what's wrong with your back".  And here I thought I was masking my stoop pretty well.  I'm definitely gonna try the walking backwards more often to counter that old lady stoop. I explained to her that my spine was shortening.  I'm surprised she hadn't noticed before. (Or is it worsening/ more noticeable??).

@violet runner, how come these doctors have such a hard time giving definitive diagnosis(s).

Have a great day everyone!

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Hi- coming  to tell you about the Moshn Vigor shoe I said I was intrigued about.. 2 styles on the Q. I am sending back.. not so much for the rocker motion, but they are heavy!!   They do seem to say what they mean. Its a nice supportive shoe..

I would say the Med. width is on the narrower side. They don't look much different than my HOKA's except the bottoms are much harder. I  got a great deal on these- $70 with tax..and only color being grey which were ok.. On the Q and elsewhere they are $100 more. Not always a bargin if they dont' work out. Feel free to try them and if you do, let me know your thoughts. I really can't recommend them.

@Mmsfoxxie  One main thing  about my doc and getting a diagnosis. I deferred any xrays or MRI-- but rethinking that.. My own darn fault. Thinking I know more than them. HA!

Re: WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

I was feeling extremely lazy today so I went back to my bike and did a thirty minute bike ride called R30. Watched my soap while I did it, but I did keep myself honest with the tension.

We'll see if I can walk tomorrow. This morning was iffy after yesterday's hour in the seat.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi I couldn't find those shoes on Amazon.  I have Hoka do you think that's good enough for me.  I love them but am always interested in a new brand.
