Hah! I can finally post on the OCTOBER thread! Even though I don't really have anything to post.
I do have a dance lesson today and I am teaching LaBlast tomorrow. The breast cancer photo shoot is tomorrow night and I still have my two zits, which is so irritating! I haven't had a break out since my teens.
And even better news--my bathroom saga is coming to an end. The carpenter will be here Tuesday morning to put the floor and drywall in and the plumber will be here in the afternoon to put the toilet back. I'll still be waiting on the vinyl installation, but at least I won't have to go downstairs to the bathroom. AND--my claim money is in the bank as of today!!
I don't have anything else so I'll tell you to have a great weekend!

That's great news, @DrKelli!
@hckynut, I admire that you're still on the go and have such energy. I was doing pretty well prior to 2020....doing at least two workout classes back to back four or five days a week. I thought I was helping my arthritis but apparently I wasnt because my knees would cause pain that I accepted as part of being bone on bone. That was only part of it. I was overdoing my workouts for my condition. Then my feet started hurting, mainly when I gained my pandemic 30 over the 20 that I was already over. But my short stature couldn't take the excess pounding on the gym floor and the weight. Now, I'm doing everything in moderation with 30 pounds less of me and no foot pain right now and I haven't had a knee injection in a year.
I just wanted to acknowledge to you that I think you're doing great! I think we're in the same age range. I'm 74.

@DrKelli that's great. Finally light at the end of the tunnel
@Mmsfoxxie that weight loss really does help bone and joints!! So awesome!
Today was Cellercising for 15 minutes, TG for about 30 all lower body, then went on the Reformer and that was upper body using the pull up bar.
Rosalie Brown's ABtober 50/50 challenge and another persons plank challenge 30 seconds.
Took a color ride this afternoon. So beautiful!
Happy Weekend!

Happy Sunday
Gloomy and dreary all day here and very muggy. Did 30 minutes on the reformer and my Rosalie AbTober 50/50 challenge and then 1 minute plank.
Been on the phone with Direct tv for over an hour. Dumber than a box of rocks. Our local channel TBS is not on the air. And we keep telling her we get all the rest it's just that channel. Our son is umpiring the Brewers/Dodgers game behind the plate and here we sit with nothing. It's a nationwide game... What is there to understand everyone gets it. Our tv says we don't subscribe to it. Duh it's in our channel line up and we get it all the time. I'm beyond furious. If you see my head rolling down the street it has spun off my shoulders!

@bopper : Are you worried about revealing who your son is? Just wondering.......

Good morning, everyone. Plenty of rain yesterday and more to come most days this week, according to the forecast.
Going for Medicare Wellness check this morning. Gonna find out if I have any sanity left, lol. I should straight tell the doctor that I've gone coo coo, save some time. And I forgot that my mammogram is always the 5th of October. I tried calling Friday but could only leave a voicemail.
I might do a home workout later, not sure.
Enjoy your day!

Good morning all!
Well, I had kind of a lazy weekend, although I did teach LaBlast on Saturday. Saturday night, I went to a gathering of women that are participating in the Breast Cancer gala. It was very nice to meet everyone and they are really lovely people, but it was really a bummer of an evening for me. Don't get me wrong--the meal was delicious and we all got our photos for the calendar but I can only take 'poor me' talk for so long. I realize not everyone processes the experience the same way and most of the women there had much more advanced cancer than I do, but the fight is theirs and they have to do the work, which means they may feel like ****** after chemo, but if that's how your doctor says you have a chance of beating it, that's what you do. Also--remember my injured toe nail? Well, I lost it Saturday night--but I don't know where. I was taking my makeup off at home and happened to glance down and the toe nail was gone. I hope I at least lost it outside of the woman's house . . .
Sorry to dump on you all, but I can't just slap a smile on my face about people not fighting for their own health.
Speaking of which-- I was on a call this morning and one of my plants has 4 confirmed covid cases. This is half their staff. One guy was vaccinated and probably picked it up in Las Vegas and then brought it back with him. I don't think the others are vaccinated. We are not out of this and it just proves how contagious it is.
I'm going to try to get a LaBlast workout in today. My dance lesson got canceled on Friday (don't get me started about how pisst I am about that because he never called me to reschedule on Sunday). I don't technically have lessons booked, but I'm going to show up at my regular time. Our performance is in 12 days and we're doing a death spiral, so I need to remember how to do that.
Hope you all have a great day!!

Good morning! Sounds like everyone is doing well and the bathroom saga is coming to an end.
There was a staff meeting last week at work - a virtual staff meeting - and looks like I'm headed back to the office on November 8th. We will work one week at the office and one week at home so that not all the staff and attorneys are in the office at the same time. Think that lasts through the end of the year.
So this morning started getting myself back on the weekday work schedule. Been getting up to feed my kitty at the normal wake up time but then would go back to bed for an hour or so. Not anymore! Up early this morning and stayed up. After 18 months of working from home, its going to take me a while to get back on the work day schedule.
Going to be warm here again today. Weather will start a big cool down tomorrow, however, no rain in the forecast. We need it so badly, the fires are still burning. Had 2 earthquakes - one on Friday and one on Saturday. Not big ones but the epicenter was very close - a couple miles - from my house so very unsettling.
Since I was up early this morning, I did a 25 minute Body Groove workout. Thats it for me. Hope everyone has a good day.
