Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good Morning November!

We had a good amount of kids last night despite the rain and wind.  I was surprised actually.

At least now the rain has stopped, I have groceries to go out and pick up.

Not sure what workout I'll do today, maybe take a rest day.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

@Mom in NY  - Can't help you with your question.  Maybe someone else can.

Did numerous trips up and down my stairs today.  Couldn't be helped as I had to bring in groceries, went out to do some errands, and some chores had to be done.  Hoping my knee doesn't rebel later today but at least I got some exercise in with running errands and up and down the stairs.

We got some more rain overnight!  Wooohoooo!  Every little bit helps.  The rain was gone by the time I got up and it became a beautiful, sunny Fall day.  Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday.

Happy Football Sunday!

Today I took a morning walk before the rain starts, football this afternoon.  Kind of a quiet day.

I ordered a Laura Geller kit today from the Q.   I do like her makeup.

@Laura have you made scones?  My husband wants me to make Pumpkin scones with a maple glaze.... yum!

@JudyL I hope the knee holds out for you.

Our Rival football game Lions/Packers game.  GO LIONS

[ Edited ]

Hi Everyone!  Had a busy morning today.  Finishing up with 4 loads of laundry, did some chores around the house.  Then made a chicken and penne pasta casserole.  It's called "spaghetti casserole" and I've made it the usual way many times.  This time, however, I decided to make it with chicken and penne pasta.  It made enough for 4 meals so I put 3 in the freezer and will have 1 tonight for dinner - thank goodness for LocknLock!  Will keep the other 3 for when my DD has gone home post surgery.  It'll be easy for me to take out of the freezer and heat up.  Will make a couple other recipes for the freezer but will do those later in the week.

Now I'm watching football.  @bopper - tough call on the Lions player being ejected.  Have to agree with the commentators that I didn't think the call was justified.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

It's pouring in Green Bay!  Those poor players!  Must be very dedicated, hardy fans to be there in that rain.

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Monday!   Today is going to be the last warm day until Spring!  Ughhhh   It's almost 60!  It rained though so its quite humid out.

I did 3 miles on the walking pad with Peloton app, and then some on the rebounder and vibration plate.  Actually a 1 minute wall sit.   It was hard!

Lions won!! Yes that call I was quite surprised that they ejected him.  My granddaughter and her BF were sitting at that game.  I felt so bad for them.  Her first NFL game ever and it poured the entire time.

Trying to psyc myself up for the dental appt.  I called today to confirm it, the receptionist is a guy and he was very nice.  Said it would most likely take less than an hour.  $300 is the cost, I thought it would be way more.

Since losing Logan I have felt so sad and the house feels so lonely.  I put my Christmas tree up, (no judgement) please haha not that I think any of you would.  It makes me happy to see the lights, it's calming for me.  And it's not a big tree so I have fall stuff still up and my tree.

Not much else here, hoping everyone is holding their own, and working through the aches and pains.  I know I have some aches and pains, but we push forward right?

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper  Coming on to say part 1 of my dental appt is OVER!!  During an exam  this summer it was suggested I get a deep cleaning... I got a second opinion and yes, suggested I get it done.  They do it in 2 appts, cause they really numb up the mouth and only want one side  numbed at a time.  I'm still numb, but home so can't tell you how it will be when the novacaine wears off.

Your Lions beat my husband's Packers..  You are  right- pouring rain.. Plus the Lions player getting ejected.. The better team won yesterday , that's for sure.

And my Bronocs.. glimpses of improving and then a game like yesterday.. And we play the Chiefs  this coming week.

We had snow flurries this morning.. and the foothills have snow!! UGH!  I may get out for a short walk-  Otherwise  coming down from my dental anxiety and appt..

@bopper   If it calms you to have your Xmas tree up- great!!  I always like the soft lighting it gives off- I have a very small tree I put up, but not for awhile.

Everyone else- hope you are having a nice day!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning.

Went to donate some items at Salvation Army this morning.  Then had to go to a local bookstore and ended up parking quite far away - not by choice - and having to walk.  Well far is relatively speaking.  It normally would not be that far if my knee was in better shape.  Took my time and did ok.  Now I'm home and not going anywhere.

It's a beautiful, sunny but cool day here by the Bay.  Love this weather.

Take care
