Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper

Your note is so apropos .... another one I will print off and frame for Jack.

I am taking a day off as I have my own Dr visit today. Follow up skin cancer check. Ugh, I am so tired of going to Dr's.  Tomorrow Jack has another follow-up from his fall and lost consciousness. Then...it looks like a break until spring. : knock on wood:

Hope everyone has a great day.

[ Edited ]

This morning I took a 30 minute walk along the water.  Saw squirrels scurrying about looking for treats to store for the winter, a goose pecking at the grass for breakast, a white egrit standing on the shoreline basking in the sun, two crows looking for twigs for a nest - guess they couldn't wait until Spring, the crows were also harrassing the goose but guess who won that?  I thought c'mon you stupid crows, the goose is a bit bigger than you!  Also, saw the prettiest trees all turning bright red, orange, and gold.

I so needed a walk like this today.  Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday.

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good Morning,

Yesterday I did Love Wins Yoga.

Not sure what I'll be up to today. I'm really tired and it's really unseasonably cold.

We are supposed to warm up tomorrow and the weekend for my hike.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday. Heart

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

@kate2357  I hear ya about doc appts. and appts. in general. Enough already.!

I had PT appt yesterday - not sure what I am prepping for yet.. my appt ( yup another one)on Mon- should give a diagnosis - should being the key word on my hip/ thigh/ leg.

Pt gal did dry needling again and gave me 2 core exercises to add to my arsenal. I had coffee with a friend after that and halfway thru- I didn't feel good- chills and body aches - then I rememebered the day before I had my covid shot. I would say I had a half day of not feel well.  Anyone getting the RSV vaccine.? I got the flu shot a couple of weeks ago.
Fine this morning and actually went to the  rec center- so good seeing my friends there. I haven't been all week. Did upper body weights and some track walking. Nothing stellar but glad I went.

Our temps are warming. The sun is coming out.. its a good day!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good Morning,

Did 45 minutes of biking while watching social shopping and answering work emails. Multitasking at its finest.

I might brave the cold for a walk around the block. Have a great Thursday!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning everyone!

@violet runner  - My Dr wants me to get the RSV so will make the appt today.  Not sure if my Medicare Part D plan will cover it so will have to see what the Pharmacist says.  If it doesn't cover it, I probably won't get it as I hear it is very expensive.

Feeling worn out a bit today so not sure if I'll take a walk or not.  Sun is out and it's the last warm day for a while.

Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning, all!

I thought I posted earlier, but apparently  not.  Had my trainer workout this morning.  It was kind of a hard one, but I got through it.

Started working on new choreography last night, it's going to be complicated, so it's a good thing we have a couple of months so I can get it memorized.

@JudyL one of the vaccinations (I think the covid one) was billed at 140 bucks!  My insurance paid for it, but that seems ridiculously high.  None of my docs recommended the RSV one, but I still need to get the shingles vaccination.  I understand the side effects are kind of bad (like what I had with the flu/covid shots), so I have to plan on when I'll get it.

Made my reservations to go visit my mom at Christmas.  I was going to drive, but one of the dogsitters became available.

Nothing much going on, so everyone, have a good day.

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

The park near me as a 1 mile track along the Bay so went there for my walk today.  Knees were rebelling the whole way.  Took me 25 minutes from the car through the 1 mile track and back but I did it.  Now I'm home, have taken some Advil and sitting on my backside waiting for the Advil to kick in.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Hey everyone, I totally forgot to post yesterday, I run 3 FB fitness groups and then this one and some days it's to much!

I did rebounder today with Kettle bells, and a good dog walk.

I hate dr. appointments.  Speaking of I had my dental visit yesterday, no cavities!   Had her numb by gums first and it made a big difference.  I was in and out in under 45 minutes!  Wahoo for me!

I've had a nagging headache I think the weather change causes it.

I am glad Halloween is done.  We had over 80 kids... I may have said that already, I digress haha.

Have a good rest of the day!
