Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Fabulous Friday!   It should be my rest day but you know how that goes for me Haha  I do have a Walmart grocery picup this morning so will do that.   I don't go in.

Sunny right now but I see clouds in the West approaching.  We've had a couple days of nice weather way nicer than we had in October!

Virus bad here too @DrKelli  although my son near you and his wife went to dinner for their Anniversary.  I had told him not a good idea but of course "I'm to over protective" and I don't know anything LOL  okay whatever I guess!

I see it is windy though the branches are blowing hard so that makes it colder.

Otherwise not much exciting here either.  I know I"ll walk and I"ll do PIlates chair, probably stay off the TG like I said but then you never know!

Have a great day!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning, all!

@bopper I actually feel pretty comfortable dining in restaurants.  They are all pretty careful about social distancing and requiring masks when  you are not eating.

I just got a text from my friend, the school nurse and they are going remote starting Monday.  She is very upset about it.  Mainly because the failure rate in schools have sky rocketed with remote learning.  Even as a medical professional, she believes that schools should continue with in person learning. I don't know that I agree with that, but I certainly see her point.

Just finished my workout with my trainer (via Face Time)--it was hard today.  Tonight is the big premiere of the showcase!! If I get the link soon enough, I'll post it for you.

Yesterday was a bad day nutrition wise--I had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit from McDonald's for breakfast --I get sick of eating oatmeal daily.  And I also had one of their new cinnamon rolls--almost 600 calories.  I felt horrible the rest of the day-guilt wise and also because I had too much sugar.  I didn't even allow myself a fun size candy after dinner like I normally do.  I even 'fessed up to the trainer.

Hope you all have a good weekend!  It's supposed to get cold here.  But I will be going to LaBlast tomorrow morning and Christmas shopping on Sunday--need to get it mailed quickly.

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Hi everyone!

My son is sick.  He had difficulty breathing when he was at work on Wednesday nite.  He's been home and resting ever since.....sleeping a lot.  He has no fever and his oxygen sat levels have been great/unremarkable.  i'll just continue to monitor and hope it's not covid.

I need to get back on the trail.  it rained today.

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Saturday today I did an hour on the TG to a video and then 30 minutes on the stationery bike using hand weights for a circuit.  Walked in the afternoon.

We took a little ride and came across a bike accident, man laying in the middle of the road.  No ambulence had even gotten there. His biking buddies were tending to him.  He looked bad.  Face down and not moving at all.  Side of face all full of blood.   We had to sit for 30 minutes for firetrucks and ambulence to leave before they let us through.  I felt sick inside.

@DrKelli  I 'll go watch it thanks.

@MickD  oh no I hope it isn't Covid.  My son was exposed by a coworker on Friday and now is at his cabin quaranteining.   I pray he is okay, please let us know!

Also a garage burned down a block away from here so there was a lot of stuff happening today.  I told hubby I think we better just stay home the rest of the day.

Take care everyone!

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Sunday Funday!   Another steller day here in Upper Michigan, another weird part of 2020 it's never nice here in November but I am more than happy to take it.

I did an hour on the TG and 20 minutes on the bike, 60 mountain climbers for Rosalie Browns Movember challenge and 50 Squats for the Squat challenge.  Walking as soon as I feed myself!

No action here so I will say so long for now!  Keep moving.  Movement is medicine, Motion is Lotion!!

@bopper I hope your son does not have covid!  And he's gotta quarantine alone......very stressful.

Steve is better.  He had the congestion, difficulty breathing and a sore throat.  He's going into work tonight.  He doesn't need a test to go back.  I'm def going to monitor how he's doing though.....the difficulty breathing freaked me out.

Re: WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

I was in Remember You Young, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Love is in the Air, where I almost fell. I slipped on the marble floor. The diner was so much fun to film in!
