Wonder woman is right, @MickD , lol. Listen to your body, @DrKelli.
Hi, everybody. Hope all is well. I had a good weekend hanging out with hubby's VFW buddies and their spouses. It was a day trip to a casino (don't care for them but it was a fundraiser event) but my enjoyment came with the interacting with the group. And there was a buffet included....argh!
Today, I'll do two classes, Senior Cardio and then Strength & Motion (weight training). The other day, I felt so embarrassed when I caught one of my workout buddies staring at me....she was diagonal to me a couple of rows over and I could see her with my peripheral vision. I know she was thinking about how much weight I've gained because she and I have talked about WW a lot. This is probably what I need to get back on track with my eating. Through the years before I retired, coworkers making comments is what usually turned me around. The teasing was horrible. No one meant any harm but I've always been sensitive about my weight. Now that I'm older, it doesn't affect me as badly but it still gets to me.
Have a great day everyone.

Happy Monday, I did TG and dog walk today, more decorating. Not much though I have really scaled down, it started to bug me and look like clutter and gets so dusty. Tomorrow into Wednesday a big snowstorm, don't want it!
@Mmsfoxxie glad you had a nice time. It doesn't take much for our weight to climb up, I totally understand where you are coming from and I do agree as we get older it doesn't bother us as much as when we were younger but still does some.
@DrKelli glad you are doing well, keep resting when you need and moving when you can!
@MickD you had good walks with the dogs too! Today will be the last day I bet I will be able to do the trail without my winter boots, right now we have grass still, we had accumulating snow earlier in November but we had some 40 degree days and it melted thank goodness but now with this storm coming they said 12-18 inches....not a fan
Rest easy everyone!

Hi everyone! I actually did the Leslie Sansone one mile workout today. I'm a little sore tonight, but I'm sure it's from doing some of the arm movements.
im glad to see that you are keeping up your activity during turkey week!

Good Morning!
Another big fire in CA - ugh. So distressing. This one isn't near me but it is in a beautiful area.
@DrKelli - you go girl! But please don't overdo either.
Hope everyone is having a good week!

Good extremely windy morning, everyone!
No workout today but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I know we all have many blessings to be thankful for. If you think you don't, give it more thought and you'll change your mind.

Hey, just a fast note, we've had no power all day, so I have been tending to the wood stove, at least we have heat. Terrible snow/ice storm, and it came back about 5 minutes ago, but afraid we'll lose it again.
Thanksgiving canceled for tomrrow...
Stay safe and healthy everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Happy almost turkey day everyone!
@bopper I hope you have a good day tomorrow even though things were cancelled.
Went out to dinner at fisherman's with my son. My chiro walked by and all the surrounding tables are current or previous patients.....it was hilarious....small beach town with a great chiro.
I went to the chiro yesterday morning and I don't go back until the 6th. It's still swollen, but there is no pain to the touch, just on the inside....small improvements....I'll take it!

Happy Thanksgiving to my Family Here!
@MickD Thank you. Yesterday was terrible, we were without power for 17 hours! Never ever as long as I have been alive has this ever happened. Now today is show blowing, ice chopping, picking up branches.... Pretty crazy. Glad your seeing your chiropractor and it's not getting worse and that's pretty funny his patients were in there!
We're heading to my oldest sons house at 1:30 for dinner. I made a healthy broccoli salad. I miss my other son though and my grandkids in CO.
I will not be working out today, nor will I feel guilty about it!
Enjoy your day whereever you are and whatever you decide to do, it's all good!
Peace and Blessings!

Good morning, group! I hope everybody is well. We had a terrible wind storm here all day Wednesday and deep into the night but it was calm by Thursday. I heard that many flights were cancelled/delayed, shortening some holiday travel.
@DrKelli, I hope you're still recuperating well.
I did something different this Thanksgiving. I ordered a turkey dinner from Home Chef which was pretty good. I make a sweet potato casserole fish for dessert. I used to order from Home Chef, Blue Apron and a couple of others all the time but got tired of so much prep work.
Well, working out today is a must! I plan to go out for my senior cardio class or do a home workout. Trouble is that I've been awake since about 2 am. According to Fitbit, I slept a little over 4 hours. I'm dragging.
Enjoy your day everyone. I don't plan on doing any Black Friday shopping, especially out at any brick & mortar stores. Folks are too rude.

Hey ya'all, well another Holiday had come and gone... Is it Easter yet LOL,,,,,, yeah I"m over snow and ice storms already! That being said, another one coming tomorrow late afternoon into Sunday, already telling people we will lose power,,,,seriously I was withouth for 17 hours on Wednesday, I don't know how folks in hurricanes and tornados do it, we take it for granted for sure and at least I have my house, I should be ashamed of myself for complaining, sorry folks!
This morning I did a 40 minute TG workout, then I did a trail walk and by golly it was hard, the trees are all bent with ice and snow, had to duck under many and some fallen trees just at that kind of scary tilt, praying as I run under it isn't falling on me or I'd be a gonner! Poor Logan had so many snowballs on his fur he could hardly walk, and I'm not kidding either. I had to stop and use my bare fingers to try and break them up so he could move,,,he's a velcro magnet for snow it the temp is at the freezing point, which it is now. Then I chopped lots of ice from in front of the garage door, I wanted that to be at least bare, but now it's just wet, so hoping my garage door doesn't freeze onto the pavement and rip the rubber strip off the bottom, scraped the ice off the deck too, and broke a solar light, I tried to get the ice off the top with my mitten and the whole thing broke off,,,,,,
My son was shopping in CO and someone side swiped his truck in the parking lot, and was about to leave, when a lady wo saw it happen flagged her down and she had to stop, he got her into but he said this is the last Black Friday shpping he does, as you said @Mmsfoxxie people are very rude and I don't need anything that bad right??
I hope ya'all enjoyed Thanksgiving, I'm done for the day and sitting with coffee and Hallmark, I'm pooped. Hubby is at camp until tomorrow, I told him to keep an eye on changing conditions so he can get home before the storm starts.
Blessings to all!
