@bopper - I have a Bosch dishwasher. Its been working fine for years.. I sometimes think they are all made in the same place ( or similar) and stick their brand name on it. HA! Probably not.. but who knows.. My motto is don't go with the cheapest or most expensive.. Usually it works out.
Biked both weekend days and got a few walks in.. Sorry, @bopper about your pending snow.. Here in CO I would say it was perfect- sunny, little wind, and 70s.
I got a little gardening done.. Don't do alot , but took inventory of any containers I might need to replace and cleaned a little in the garage. I did plant my cucumbers- Might be a little too early- I can haul them into the garage if need be.
Been to the rec center this morning.. and plan to walk later on.
Thanks for starting the May thread, @bopper !!

Happy May!
@violet runner you know the Colorado rule--don't plant before Mother's Day!!
I got a shot in my foot this morning. I went to the podiatrist and found out I have a Morton's Neuroma--easy to treat--a shot of cortisone. If you aren't familiar--it is inflammation of the nerve between the 3rd and 4th toes. I go back in 3 weeks for another shot.
Not sure what I will do for a workout today--probably something from my app. I am super busy at work, so didn't get to do anything this morning.
A woman in the buy nothing group I belong to put out a desperate plea for a vacuum--happen to have an old one that is going to the goodwill, so I told her she could have it. She was supposed to pick it up yesterday. Guess what--still sitting on my porch. I messaged her this morning that I couldn't keep it on my porch indefinitely and if she didn't get it today, it was going to GW. Guess she wasn't that desperate.
Hope you all have a good day--will be missing tomorrow as I have to go out to the plant where the plant manager hates me. Fun day.

Hey Happy May! Well it's not happy here. No power and snow and it's a huge mess here. Some of my friends are mowing lawns and planting and we don't have a trace of Spring yet here. All schools and University is closed, windy cars in ditches.
I would like the Bosch too @violet runner it has good ratings.
I did the spin bike for 30 minutes don't need power only me and the my reformer for 25 minutes. No excuses right!
And I shall carry on here in the snow country!

@bopper What a cruddy way to start May with all that snow and no power. I know it's not fun. Good for you to still get in some exercise...pretty sure I would not be as committed.
Sunday I went for a 5 mile run, came home and washed outside windows. Oldest son invited Jack and I to go to local park and ride bikes. They were teaching the grandbabies how to ride bikes without training wheels, so we all traded duties. I think I spent more time laughing than riding.
Today I did 90 minutes on treadmill and will be taking tomorrow as a rest day. Will do a bit of gardening if we don't get rain.

I did yoga and some HIIT. I have the next two weeks to myself so I am hoping to make the most of it.
Have a good week.

Good morning all. Chilly today but not bad.
Not much going on here. One of our patio chairs broke while my husband was sitting in it the other day so we agreed to get a new set. Simple, right? No, he's sending me pics of really nice sets, pricey. IMO, when you know your days are numbered (old, sick), why would you want to buy expensive stuff when you have no kids living nearby? Now something simple is hard. If my husband passes before me, I won't be staying here because the upkeep is too expensive so I'll have get rid of all of our house things. I could say more but I'll spare you, lol.
Have a great day!

@Mmsfoxxie : I never comment on this upbeat and encouraging thread. I have a thought about buying more expensive things as we age. It's like all the beautiful china/crystal I use to never use, I am using them all the time. So what if it breaks....it brings me joy. The same with furniture/patio, I don't want to sit in some broken piece until I die. Enjoy it while you can and things will take of itself when I am no longer around to care about it.

@Hoovermom - I agree with you. You have reminded me to get out and use the china that I have that I love. Used to only use it at the holidays, then I started using it on Sundays. Somehow I got away from doing that. Even though it's just me, think I'll start bringing it out again on Sundays for dinner.
@Mmsfoxxie - I say get the patio set that you want and enjoy it!
