@DrKelli  and @JudyL, glad you're making through all of your tribulations.  It can be rough but it's how to handle things that counts.

ADT came yesterday afternoon and it took him five minutes to disconnect the alarm system.  But at least twice last night I thought I heard those beeps or chiming noises, lol.  Hallucinating, lol.

I have a Move & Grove class this morning.  I always called this my "just enough to sweat" class.  Let's see what I say doing with this mask on. Herd Immunity hurry up and get here, please.  To be honest, I think that event won't get here soon.

Good morning all!  It's a nice day here, but we are expecting thunderstorms later today.  Just that time of year I guess!

We had a huge police situation in my neighborhood yesterday up at the end of the block.  I sat here and watched it for most of the morning.   Turned out to be nothing.  911 got a call from a known domestic violence address, so the SWAT team was called out, ambulance and fire department too.  After several hours it was determined that the apartment was empty.

Had my trainer workout yesterday and will have my dance lesson today.  I'm pretty boring.

My neck is still swollen from the Kybella shots, but not as bad as yesterday.  Hopefully, I won't have to do a 3rd round.  I just talked to the PA and she said that was possible!

Did 30 on the reformer and then 30 on the Cellerciser with I Jump Instead and some on the pilates chair and TG.

@DrKelli  I asked you a day or so ago if you still use the Aeroski?  You must have not seen it.   I keep seeing posts on it and live workouts with Rosalie and Coach Jamie.   I kind of want one.

@Mmsfoxxie so glad your alarm system is fixed what a fiasco

Speaking of fiascos.  I had one yesterday.   Had to go to Secertary of States to renew my drivers license.  Well I knew I needed my Birth Cert. to get the gold star for flying.  So I had already had  a copy made from the County Clerks office and was sitting with my mask on waiting for the lady to call me up.  I get up there and she starts doing my license and then asks for my Marriage License.  What???  I don't have that.  I didnt' know I needed that too!  Wasn't told that, if I had been told I would have had a copy of that made also at the same time I was at City Clerks office.   I was so irritated.   She told me I had to come back with the Marriage license.  I told her you need an appt. at the Clerks office now with Covid so how can I do this today.    I asked her to call over there and ask them if I could drive over and get this copy.  Luckily they said I could.  So off I went to get a copy of that.  Had to go through hoops to get into the Courthouse.  Sherriff sitting at desk checking temps and asking why you are there.  Which I understand.  So finally get my copy and drive back and wait again.   Finally she called me back up and we got it done.   But get this, she said "oh they extended the Star thing for 2 more years"  Really, then are you telling me I didn't have to go and get this marriage cert. now I could have just renewed my license and done that later.   She says Yes.   And she didn't tell me this before???????   Well I should have it now anyways when my license comes in the mail.   But I get so rattled when things go down like this.

@JudyL  glad you did some upper body stuff and tried Adrienne.  She's a gem!  Just keep moving and doing arm stuff and ab stuff too.

Guess I"ll cut up some cardboard for the garbage people tomorrow.

Cold here and just tiny buds.   When I got up it was 37.... Seriously...

Hi everyone!  Still alive and kickin.  Packing now as we need to be out in beginning of June.  The buyers were very nice and gave us 15 days after June 1st.  The place needs to be termite tented, and we can't move into the rental until June 1st.

Anywhoooo.....I got on the trail today with my boy and good gawd, it almost killed me as I haven't ran since mid-Feb.  We ran 3.71mi/47min

@MickD so good to see you posting again.  I grew up in Riverside so not far from Lake Elsinore.  That area is too hot for me now.  So not used to it.  Hope the move and all goes smoothly.  Check in when you can.

@bopper your drivers license fiasco is one reason why I have not gotten the new CA drivers license.  We have to take so much ID that its ridiculous.  I need to make an appt though and just do it but I keep putting it off.  Easy now that I'm in the boot cuz I can't stand for long periods of time!  Maybe there is a silver lining to this boot after all.....

Today I did a 30 Leslie Sansone workout.  Right now those are the easiest ones for me to do sitting down and to make up moves when necessary.  I still manage to do quite a bit sitting down - I can do easy kicks, leg lifts, etc., but my arms are in constant motion!

@bopper I'm not using the aeroski as much any more--I need to get back to it.

I can't believe what it took you to renew your license.  I renewed mine in 2018 and didn't need all that stuff and I have one of the Star licenses.  I just needed my old license but I did have to do it in person, which meant a very very long wait.  I'm hoping that when I have to renew in 2023 that I can do it online.  I need to renew my passport this year and I probably need a new picture because my "teeth" are showing and all federal id requires your mouth to be closed.  I'll have to wear a wig because I don't want to carry a passport for 10 years with this stupid short hair.

Had my dance lesson yesterday and will try to do something today.

This is off topic but after I read @bopper 's post about her drivers license, I had to get out my piece of paper listing all that I need to take with me to renew my CA license.  Here's what it said:

Proof of identity - such as birth cert, valid US passport or permanent resident card;

Proof of SS number - SSN card, W-2 or paystub with full SSN showing;

Proof of CA residency - need 2 documents, such as utility bill, vehicle registration, property tax bill, or mortgage or lease agreement

Goodness be, no wonder I haven't bothered with this.  Not that I don't have all the necessary documents but geez, really?! For a driver's license?!

P.S.  Editing post:  I did 30 minutes of yoga, all on the floor.  Did 2 short videos of Adrienne's - one for the core and one for upper back, neck, and shoulders which I thought would be good since I'm sitting at a computer all day.  Liked them both a lot so will continue to do those. Took my boot off and used an ankle support while doing the yoga.  Felt so good to take that boot off for a little bit.

Hi, everyone.  This morning was kind of rainy but this evening looks great.

Wow, I never knew it took so much to get a renewal of a driver's license.  Got my last renewal about two years ago and only needed my expiring license, if I recall.  And to boot, it only cost me $5 because I was over 69.  I still have to get that Real I.D. which I expect to be a headache.  @bopper, that's what I thought you meant.

I went in for a workout class this morning.  While waiting for the class to start, I felt go good sitting there and chatting with the ladies.  Almost like old times.  Someone said that they'd heard there might be classes with only vaccinated people in them/it so that we don't have to wear masks while we workout.  I'm praying for it.

I air fried some broccoli today and boy was it good!  The other day, I did carrots and if my eyed had been closed, I would have thought I was eating sweet potato fries.  Yum. Except for a couple of tiny WW 'candy' squares (two inches) that I had laying around, I haven't had any sweets for a month.  And yes, it was stale, lol.  It's over a year old.  No Twix, snickers or paydays have touched my lips.  No caramel popcorn w/pecans since mid March and I had lived on it since March of last year.  So, I'm progressing.

Hey all!   Yes that's right @JudyL  so much ****** just to renew the stupid license.  I mean really.  Then she said to me " my records don't show you as a US Citizen....  How messed up can something me right!!!  I sure hope the next time it's due to renew I can do it by mail!

@DrKelli Yes get back on the Aeroski.  

@MickD  so happy to see your post.   You have lots going on!!  But I think your pace for the miles you ran is great since you haven't done it since February!!!  Keep us posted when you can

@JudyL  sorry about the boot still.   Just keep working those arms and doing Adrienne.  Even mentally it makes you feel good!

@Mmsfoxxie  is Red Hatters starting up soon since all are getting vacinnated in that age bracket?   Have you missed it?

@bopper, I have so missed my Red Hatters!  A lot of them around the country have gotten together for activities.  We are broken down into chapters, of which I belong to two of them.  I guess we are a punch of scary cats cause we've only done a couple of zoom meetings.  No fun at all.  The  good thing about it is that I won't be tempted with any foods that I shouldn't eat.  We are known for eating out, lol.  I'd love to go on a weekend trip, though.
