Hi @bopper and everyone..
Well...I was a little all over the place in Feb, but worked out pretty consistently...some indoor bike, (weather was cold or snowy a lot of Feb, here in CT), some reformer (only a little rebounding), some of my usual strength training with Jennifer Kirsch Fitness videos (purchased programs, but forever in your library.)
I must be getting old, (or just not consistent enough!) because I never used to be prone to injury. Lately I'm always pulling something! I'm fine when working out, then 2 days later I wake up with something.
This week, after doing a Pilates mat class (hadn't done P mat in a long time, wanted to get back in the habit with it because I'm following again one of my favorites who is putting out an App this Friday "Pilates by Maragret") She also has plenty for free on YouTube. Anyway...I think I pulled a thigh muscle doing that. Two days later it affected me...pinched and hurt so much kept me up one night, and been taking lots of Advil..(and I'm not a usual pill popper, so that says something.) Slowly improving.
Anyhoo...today I'll do probably the bike and ease back into Pilates when I can. Or upper body strength for now.
Have a good day everyone~Happy, almost March!

Happy March 1st! Still nursing the jaw. Didn't think this would take so long! Still some chipmunk swelling in the cheek and achy jaw, so taking the smart road and waiting until I am not in pain and the swelling is gone. This is super hard for me because I am not used to not being active! I guess what I have learned is you really don't need as much food as you think you do. I've been eating less and not really that hungry. Although I do realize working out makes one hungrier. I missed posting yesterday, you'd think time wouldn't get away from me when I'm literally doing NOTHING! Been cranky because of this sluggish feeling of laying around...
Our March came in like a Lamb and it better darn well leave like one! Them is "fightin words" LOL
Lets kick some butt this month!
@amyb really glad to see you and I hear on the pulling something!!

It is odd that being inactive makes me more exhausted than if I went for a 10 mile run, so I totally get what you're going through. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled about 10 years ago. It seems like was about 3-4 days of having swelling and a sore jaw. Hope each day you see improvement.
Hope your recovery is going well and that you are feeling good about how everything is going.
Things are going well here. 2 of dh's brother are visiting for the weekend. They are all sitting around the roaring fireplace, sipping bourbon and telling fish stories. I am hiding out in my sitting room trying to stay awake (it's not even 7 pm).
I did Cubii for 10,000 steps and did about10 minutes of wall sits. Not much...but it was some moving.

@violet runner Come at me, bro! 🥊😂. I am so happy you are healing. I know my hiking crown is toast as soon as you get to your first post op appt.
@kate2357 Nice to hear that you have help and company for Jack. I am so happy that is behind you both. 🙏❤️
Speaking of hiking, it's been rainy here for the past 24 hours. It's foggy and drying out and I spent two and a half hours walking the trails with lots of rushing water through the creeks and waterfalls. Beautiful and not too cool either.
I didn't sleep very well. Hot flashes kill me at night. I have zero during the day, but try and sleep and a few end up waking me up every so often. My tracker says my sleep is still good, but I am not used to waking up during the night. I also need to stop watching my tablet. Sleep hygiene is next on my hit list.
I have to meal prep once again so I will be making vegetables again this weekend and some fry bread.
I have to see the witch doctor early Monday. I have been training myself not to do a flying half nelson and take her down on sight for last year's dismissal of me and my severe sinus infection. I promise nothing. Film at eleven.
Have a wonderful weekend all! Keep taking care of yourselves so we can all hit mid March or April running. 🏃🏻♀️

One more thing: if anyone is looking for new fitness classes to stream, Mossa on Demand, which is who I have, has brought back their promo where you get the 14 day trial and your first month free so you get about six weeks to try them and see what you think. After that you pay $9.99/month.
They have everything from dance to ride to strength, yoga, and step along with group fight and some other classes I still haven't gotten to yet. They do have 30 and 60 minute versions of most. Active is a combo of step, strength, and balance if you want an hour with twenty minutes of all three. Throwing it out here in case it interests you. TryMossa44 is the promo code.
You don't really need the equipment if you don't have it. There is always one instructor showing the modified on the floor with or without weights version.

Well I'm not here to tell you tales of my exercise for the day. Although, I probably should get on the Cubii and get some of my frustration out.
First, tried to get onto BritBox and my Amazon Fire Stick wouldn't work. Said "incompatible power source" or some such thing. Checked connections, etc., and all is fine, so ordered a new one. The one I had is about 5 years old so maybe it died. It also could be that my TV is so old that it just isn't up to modern technology. LOL New one should arrive today before 10:00pm. Although with the other problem I'm having, see below, I may just not even try the new Fire Stick until things calm down a bit. If it doesn't hook up easily, I won't have the patience to deal with that too.
Woke up this morning, thought I heard my furnace go on but since about 6:00am I have had no heat. Windy, cold, damp, rainy out and I have no heat. Called the furnace people - the same ones who installed my furnace last Oct - and they said they couldn't get anyone out here until between 12 and 2pm on Monday. "Really? I cannot go 2 days without heat. That is unacceptable." Well she said, let me talk to the dispatcher. Came back, said dispatcher would call me back. After 1 hour, I didn't hear from anyone so called back. This time was told there was nothing they could do, they didn't have any technicians available. "Ok," I said, "But know that if I have to go stay in a hotel for the next 2 days because it gets too cold in here, I will have my hotel bill ready for your technician on Monday." Hmmmm, got a call back from, I think, a supervisor a little while later and said he would see what he could do to get someone out here sooner. So far, no word. Just to be on the safe side, even though I put new batteries in the thermostat about 3 months ago, I put new ones in this morning. Nope, it's not the batteries.
So, I'm aggravated with technology today and my exercise is trying to keep my blood pressure and frustration down. May go on the Cubii anyway, just to warm up.

@JudyL I am so sorry about your furnace. No excuse for that so soon. I hope they stepped up and you'll see them shortly. ![]()

Good morning, all.
@violet runner, I hope you're recouping well. @JudyL, thank God it's not wintertime! Well, I guess it is wintertime but most of us aren't having winter temps.
I'm debating whether to go get my ears irritated or try that Debrox earwax removal stuff again. It helped some but not enough. This has been going on since last summer. I hate to go in and they tell me it wasn't that much wax and that I should have used the Debrox a couple of more times first. The thing is.....before it made my blockage better, it made it worse for a few hours, like I was hearing at maybe 75% and there was distortion. Oh, well, I'll figure it out. In the meantime, I'll keep doing extra yawning.
Enjoy your upcoming week everyone.
