Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Saturday!   Well today was a Live Youtube workout with Kaleigh, and it was no joke!   60 minutes of spinning, I caught it 15 minutes in but still good and so challenging for this still beginner rider, then she did another live strength AMRAP workout total body,, again challenging.  But if it isn't challenging it isn't going to change you!

Made Chicken curry and wild rice soup for tonight.   Just sitting down now.    Only lower 40's here and windy.   Wishing the snow would melt.

Have a wonderful weekend

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper  True words- if  it isn't hard it wont' change you!

That was my hike yesterday.. We took the trail backwards and it was 85% uphill, Less  people going that way and the views were majestic . One of the perfect CO March days- sun, 60 and little wind. although when we got a breeze it felt good.  I went with a different friend than normal and she is 15 years younger than me, but I think our pace was one we both could enjoy..  My legs were tired when I got home . I had planned to do a solo hike today as well, but opting for an early walk this morning.

Short lived nice weather.. another storm approaching for tomorrow. Snow again.. sigh!

  Have a good Sunday everyone..

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Monday!

Well, new season new me. I am hanging my head as I type because I made a pig of myself on the free shipping weekend. I'm usually good with getting through one day but when they do a twofer, I usually break Sunday afternoon especially with the cooking stuff and ooops!

I have three clearance dresses coming (can't beat a $25 price tag for work dresses) and two pull in chops and two oven gloves to spruce up my cooking.  I'm tired of looking at my Vitamix and deciding against making something because I only need a little bit. I am also waiting for another burn on my hand to heal because I get so impatient when I bake so problems solved I hope.

This morning I was an exercising fool and did my regular Morning Fresh Yoga and I also did an upper body strength circuit through Amazon's Halo. It was like boot camp. I decided it's about time to take advantage of the free until Christmas access and get back into a couple times a week doing strength training.

I also want to start back on my bike since I've been doing other sitting things that I can do on it and step it up there as well.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Monday, this morning I did Kaleigh spin 25 minutes and she showed no mercy Haha.... still can't keep up but I finish...not sure if I'll ever be able to keep up.   Then did Total Gym Supreme workout with Rosalie Brown.  She moves fast....walked this afternoon.  Close to 700 calories burned today and yes I"m starving and already have eaten all my macros for the day... ughh still hungry.

@Laura14  I wish I had a Vitamix.  My Ninja is so loud hubby said I need ear protection and he's not kidding.  Good job today!   I haven't shopped the Q in a while.

I hope this week brings us all some peace.  We're having winter again, 7-10 inches of snow coming yes I said it!

Peace out!

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper Vitamix is not a quiet machine either. Good thing I am not a morning smoothie person or I would wake the whole house.

This morning I did wake up yoga and wake up upper strength from Amazon. Pumping it up.

I've been up since 2:30am so this work day should be fun. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday.

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Tuesday Toning day!!   Well actually I didn't tone haha.. well maybe I did by using my legs on the bike.   45 minutes with Kirstin Allen and whewie....will I ever be able to keep up haha.  She's a waif and I'm Amazon woman... haha...then did a nice stretch.

Under a winter weather advisory for freezing rain and possibly wet heavy snow...ughhh here we go again.  Lows by the weekend of 10.

@Laura14  I'm thinking about a nutra bullet?  Have you heard anything about that?

Going to cook up chicken thighs for dinner and left over soup.  How come when you make soup theres enough for an army!

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper , @Laura14  and others. I have a vitamix.. very noisy..  A cute story. I lived above a funeral home in an apt. several years ago and I was using my vitamix -  later on the funeral director asked if I could refrain from using it while there were calling hours.. So, yes it's noisy and I dont' use it much anymore. It's too big for making 1 smoothie. I have  coming on Thurs, a small Hamilton Beach  blendjet type.. mainly to mix my powdered protein and hopefully mix in a few other things. It's pretty cheap- I am not hopeful, but going to give it try..  It's not a USB - battery operated- have to plug it in which I am ok with. I'll let you know if it stays or gets returned.

Very windy here - I went to the rec cener and then had a 10 am appt ot take my bike in for a tune up. Almost cancelled but didn't give in to the wind and made it. About 3 miles away- full on head wind the whole way... and I walked home from there. Sure I could have taken my  car, but it's small and i have to take my front wheel off- plus I got in some good exercise.

We are going to warm up significantly in a few days-  pretty sure I'll be doing outdoor activities.

  Have a great day everyone.
