Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

[ Edited ]

Recently started a few exercise videos from youtube.

1)  20-Min Tabata to Burn Calories and Torch Fat  (seated or standing) by Yes2Next.....done every other day or 2-3 times a week

2)  jessicasmithtv does The Best Cardio Exercises for Losing Weight with Bad Knees (10 min standing)

Almost all of the exercises by Yes2Next have both seating/standing versions.  It's a daughter and mother.  I don't think I've ever seen the mother do standing exercises. Very good for 60+

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning, everyone!  I am ready to kick February to the curb!  I really dislike cold and snow!  Of course, I know we will still have cold and snow into March, since I live in SW Missouri, but March means spring is on its way!

This will be our last day of 70's temps for the foreseeable future.  I am going to walk at the nature center this morning around 11.  I'll be able to wear short sleeves and capri leggings.  I can't wait!  I will also do my core exercises later.

I hope everyone has a blessed day!

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

@cindyNC  welcome!  Sounds like you have a good program lined up!

@Ainhisg same regarding February.   March is closer to April but even April can bring snow storms here.

I posted my workout in the February thread so I won't go into it again here.

Have a wonderful day

Hi @bopper

I am glad to see this thread seems to be going well. My wife reminds me each month your thread is still working for many.

My best wishes to you and all your loved ones.

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Welcome @cindyNC -

Same here in CO- beautiful weather now and March is our snowiest month.. In fact next week the white stuff will most likley return..

I walked on a path yesterday I have walked since I moved to CO over 40 years ago.. It never fails me and I have lots of good memeories when I walk it. It's an old Hwy- still can drive on it- but its only a few miles long and connects with the newer hwy..

That was pretty much my exercise - but I was outside quite awhile.. the sun was out, some birds chirping.. who could ask for more.?!!

@bopper  Thank you for starting another monthly thread..

I have my weekly coffee meet up with my group this morning and then will get outside somewhere..  Also thinking of grilling out tonight..  Have to see what I have in the freezer.

  Enjoy this day!!

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Hello, here we are in March!!  And here it came in like a Lion so out like a Lamb right?

CO is such a beautiful state.  I love it can snow 8 inches and in 2 days it's melted!!  My kind of winter

Taking today and tomorrow off to rest the back, but not totally sitting, that makes it worse.  Just not a regular routine.

I hope everyone has a good first day of the month!

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Not much for me today.  Did some housework and am thinking about doing some time on the Cubii.  Did walk to take the trash out. LOL  Guess I should do some PT exercises to get the knee moving before I do the Cubii.

Take care and have a good evening.

Re: WELCOME TO THE MARCH EXERCISE THREAD

Happy Sunday!   Still cold and snowy here.    Resting my lower back still but rode the bike for 30 minutes.   Feels fine on the bike, morning is the worst as it's stiff from sleeping but it loosens up more as I move around.

Quiet here today.    Watched Michigan State beat WI this afternoon!

Hoping everyone is okay here!
