Good morning, ladies. Hope all is well.
Yesterday the air was really bad...smelly and hazy. Who would have thought Canadian wildfires would breeze on over to Illinois. Today, no haze that I can see but the smell is still here. Outside workers must have suffered.
Off to do my little volunteering, the best part being that I get a lot of walking done. Once I get to my area, I'm mostly sitting but to get to a couple of places in the building that I have to get to, there's walking involved. Yea! Forced exercise is good.
Enjoy your day, folks.

Got in about 40 minutes on rowing machine and worked in the garden for a couple of hours. Did more core exercises with Jack and now I need a nap.
Weather is nice .... with a string of beautiful weather lasting thru the next week. We are several inches below normal for rainfall and they are talking about drought conditions being declared this summer for western Wa.

Hi Everyone. Late this afternoon I did a 15 or so minute walk and then came home and did some squats. All seems to be ok. Will do this walk for a couple of days and then increase it again. It's been beautiful here - low 60's - but starting tomorrow we are up into the mid-70's and then low to mid 80's by Saturday. Luckily supposed to cool off starting Sunday and all next week.
Take care and hope everyone is enjoying their day.

Good morning, all.
I was in a meeting literally all day yesterday, but did get my stretches done with my Bend app. I have a trainer workout in about 30 minutes.
I did have a conversation with my dance partner last night about how I felt our lessons were not productive because I wasn't "working" toward anything and he agreed. One of the things we are now working on is jack and jill style west coast swing. It is a really difficult dance when you start with improv. If you want to know what J&J is--go to youtube and search it. Basically, the two dancers don't know each other and they don't know the song before hand. It's really cool to watch. I told him that the next time we are at a social party, I want people to be in awe of us. They are usually in 'awe' when we dance an actual Paso Doble, because no one else usually knows it and we're the only ones out on the floor. LOL!
I am so looking forward to this weekend. I took Monday off and will have a 4 day weekend.
Have a good rest of the day everyone!

We are in an early morning low clouds/mid-morning burn off weather pattern. I don't really mind because it keeps the temps lower in the morning when I am usually outside.
Didn't get a run in today because of rehab appointments. I was able to spend about 90 minutes working in the garden.
Can't believe it's already July.

Couldn't get back to sleep, so got on treadmill around 3 this morning. 60 minutes on a slow jog pace. Will be doing upper body work with Jack later this morning as part of his rehab.

Hey I'm back!!! It went fast and was very busy!! I did get in 2 Pelleton workouts on my sons bike, lots of walking and we hiked to St. Mary's Glacier, and it was 10,350 feet of elevation on a super super rocky path to get there!
The little boys were adorable, yet challenging. The older one is on the spectrum for autism, and ADHD so he has trouble controlling his emotions, and we had a few outbursts and hitting his little brother but gram and gramps made it.
@DrKelli flying out of Denver was a nightmare! We kept checking our flights and it said on time. We got to the airport at 3:30 for a 5:30 pm flight, didn't go until close to 9 pm. Thunderstorms were bad, and the security line I have never in my life seen it so long, like 500 people weaving in and out to get to security. We ended up staying in a hotel last night in WI because it was 12:35 am and we still had a 3 1/2 hour drive home. We got about 4 hours sleep, got up and hit the road and now we are home. Bad part is Logan got sick while there, my son took him to the Vet and he tested positive for Lyme disease!! He's very stiff and when laying down has trouble getting up. Once up he loosens up and does better but it was horrible not being with him during all this. so glad to be home!!
Not sure I'll even get in a workout tomorrow, my other GD is sleeping over so my son can attend his 25th class reunion. Still laundry and our floor is being installed this week, and we have to rip out the carpeting...
Mowing tomorrow.

Good morning, everybody.
@bopper, wow, nothing like trip flight drama! Glad you made it back safely, though and that Logan is recovering. Being so close to the holiday didn't help, I'm sure.

Hi everyone--I know--I've been away for awhile, but it was because I completely unplugged for 4 days.
@bopper yes, the airport was a nightmare because of the storms. I'm so sorry to hear about Logan and hope that he recovers quickly. I'm dealing with an aging dog right now and it has not been fun.
I have been completely lazy since Saturday. Like literally have done nothing but read 2 books and started a 3rd. And I have meetings all day today. Literally from 9 am to about 4:30.
It is cool today, so hopefully I can get some kind of a workout in before the day is over. I'm hoping that we don't have fireworks tonight (both mother nature and the idiots in my neighborhood). I'm assuming that because we had such a storm last night that many cities postponed until tonight and I'm sure the idiots in the neighborhood are just itching to burn up what they bought. There was some guy last night that shot them off until after 1. Even after I took my ears out, I could still hear them.
Not much else. I do get a few minutes to eat lunch before my next meeting, so I'll see you tomorrow. I already have a trainer work out scheduled, so at least I'll do something tomorrow. Have a good rest of your day!
