We were writing the same thing at the same time. Lol.

It was drier here today, but I stuck with treadmill to try to see how my knee could handle moving. Sigh, only got in about 40 minutes of a slow jog. Stupid knee hurts at the kneecap, which my knee brace doesn't really help. Blech.

@kate2357  - Well, heck, hope your knee feels better soon.  Sounds like it could be bruised?

Re: WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Hey hey, kind of blustery here today.   I did the rebounder for 45 minutes and then the reformer for 30 minutes.

Had hair appt. this afternoon, I love her washing my head!

@JudyL my knee is funky too, been like this since July.   No, not going to the dr. I'll deal with it.  If it gets better great, if it stays like this well then I will work around.   Some will argue with me, but my decision...hate doctors.

Not much else here, just plugging along!

Re: WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

@Laura14  WOW! Good news. Happy it turned out  so well.   Ditto that everyone else said here.  I am sure you slept well that night..

@Mmsfoxxie  and @JudyL   if it helps to write your anxiety down ( like journaling) feel free to do it here. My  family esp . my son, have anxiety so I am  no stranger to it.

@kate2357  - Hope the knee is just a bruising.. And you got in 13000 steps doing gardening.. it's been a long time since I did that.. Way to go!

@bopper  this was my 2nd MRI and more extensive than the first many years ago when i injured my knee  . No, not a  fan.. but it appears  I got the info I was seeking.  Got the results yesterday too and ladies- I have severe osteoarthritis in the hip- their words- bone on bone.. Some edema in there and a tear plus  little disc issues in my back- which could be from age or the hip. I have no back pain. SOOO..  Now I know why I am hobbling around and not getting better. I feel good in the fact I have tried just about everything in the past months to make it better. My gut however tells me a hip replacement in 2024.. Doubt the wheels will turn fast enough to get it done this month.. Heck my follow up appt isn't till the 21st..

I appreciate your support letting me whine to you.. I love this group!!

 Have a wonderful Wed.

@violet runner

I am so happy you now know what was causing your pain and can put a plan together with your doctor to get it fixed.

I know a few people who had hip replacements and they all mentioned the pain relief was amazing. At the rehab dh goes to there are quite a few folks who come after hip replacement. It seems like the pt is not an overly long process.

We all are here rooting you on for a quick procedure and a fast recovery.

Re: WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning dear people.  It's a beautiful day here!

This morning, I got on youtube and listened to the song 'I Hope You Dance'. Such a beautiful, uplifting song!

@violet runner, I hope you don't have to have a hip replacement.  That's worse than a knee replacement recovery wise, I think.  My mother had one.  Fully recovered, though.  They've been saying I need a knee replacement but I don't see how I'd recover at home since hubby wouldn't be able to help.  The hospital sends you home the next day unless there are complications.

@Laura14, I knew all would go well with you and your job.  I can tell from your posts that you could run that place with your eyes closed, lol.  Glad they recognized that.  Congratulations!

Wednesday is volunteer day but I'm expecting a package midday today and I don't want to miss it...so I'm staying home.  I'm surprised that it's being sent UPS.  My son is sending me a prepaid phone card from Amazon cause he wants me to stop being stingy/frugal with my tracfone minutes, lol.  Hope I don't have trouble loading it onto my account.  Personally, I don't understand how people carry their phones on themselves 24/7.  I can see myself putting it down and having to hunt for it.  I have four landline phones around the house for convenience.

Since I won't be volunteering at the hospital today and walking, I'll do some in place walking at home.  I really should call it marching since I lift my legs pretty high, trying to get my quads involved.  Have a great day, all.

Re: WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

@Mmsfoxxie I just changed my phone plan to a $15 monthly unlimited talk and text because I only had 60 minutes a month and the bosses keep calling me. There is a tracfone plan that has the same $15 for unlimited talk and text but no data. I use that as an office phone while I am at home for the customers. You may want to switch yours over and not worry about phone calls.

Re: WELCOME TO THE DECEMBER EXERCISE THREAD

Well, the prepaid card came.  I tried to scratch off the code and most of the numbers smeared, can't be seen.  Since my son bought it, I can't do anything but be angry.  He ordered it from Amazon but it came direct from a third party. 😭
