Thanks for those suggestions @Laura14. I thought about an Amazon gift certificate but all of my thoughts came back to her age. She's got everything. She's probably not expecting anything, anyway. I didn't give her anything for her 75th bd party but I had no idea how elaborate it was going to be til I got there. Thanks for your thoughts.

@Mmsfoxxie Since your birthday gal turning 80 is a writer, perhaps making a donation to a library in her name. I have done that for various friend's birthdays. Or a cause you know she is interested in.
Cold day here in CO. I walked- got insome good miles.. that's about it for me today.
Tomorrow hiking- maybe a little later start since sunrise although worth seeing,is just getting to cold to start.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Good idea, @violet runner. Thanks. When I was workingdonated to a worthy cause in my bosses name and she liked it. People that make six figure salaries don't need a lot of gifts, imo. For me personally, at age 74, I'm trying to get rid of stuff. There's only so much regifting you can do, right.

Happy Saturday! First off I think we all need to send our prayers and Good thoughts to Kentucky and the surrounding area. Such a horrible night they had.
We on the other hand had a blizzard but I'll take that over tornados anyday! We shoveled out this afternoon and the sun came out.
But this morning was time to get busy with my workout. I did 45 minutes on my reformer with a prop called a disc, small blow up little disc you placed under your back and also between the ankles. Then went on to Kaleigh Cohen Fitness Strength 25 minute workout, back to reformer rebounding 20 minutes and outside shoveling.
Being able to workout is a Gift!!!

@bopper You are a wonder woman. Unless you have a snow blower that's a triathlete's workout. You put us all to shame and greatly inspire all of us.
Root Chakra yoga this morning. A lot of leg work so they're burning a bit. Enjoying my weekend. It's nice to have some free time.
Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday. Enjoy your day!

Agree! @bopper you are an inspiration. I got up early and walked a pond area..but now telling myself to get out for another walk later today with my egg weights. I will, I will, I will.
Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday, the storm has calmed and now the sun was out today. We cleaned our yard up first off and then I hit the cycle for a spin ride with KC, then restorative stretch for 30 minutes on the reformer and 15 minutes lay down ab bouncing on the rebounder.
This afternoon I snowshoed and wowza it was hard going with almost a foot of snow. I had to break trail and it was cardio for sure
Thank you all, I really try and motivate you all to keep moving!!

Yoga for a Beginner's Mind this Monday morning. Kind of a fun back to basics short routine.
Amazon surprised me and now we'll be delivering all three trackers tomorrow. I really can't wait to get it and see what it's like.
Back to work this morning for me. Went shopping over the weekend and got a heated shiatsu massager. Never had one before but excited to try it. Sometimes my back bothers me if I arch it too much every once in a while so we'll see how it does.
Have a great day!

Good morning, everyone. Beautiful day yesterday in the upper 40s. Wednesday is supposed to be 65. Scary!
I had a great time yesterday evening at the birthday dinner that I attended. Things almost seemed normal. Masks on people were up and down, mostly down, lol. Cause it's so easy to forget to pull it back up after taking it down to sip or eat. I ended up putting a check in a bd card for my friend and looks like that's what everybody did. (I'm sure bd money will help pay for the venue). Not sure there was money in all of them, though. She had a live band there as well as a singer who we've heard before and know she does not come cheap. I did some line dancing, too. Btw, the tables seated eight people. Too many, imo. But I see I have to turn a semi blind eye to places not social distancing or stay home and let life pass me by.
Hopefully, I'll go in for my cardio/weight training class this morning. Maybe some walking. Have a great day.

You all know that voice in your head telling you to get moving.. It spoke to me this morning. I don't usually go to the rec center on Mondays. I was up and awake and while sipping coffee, the voice said- "Go! You'll feel better for it." That's what I did and I do feel good about it.
Also today I hope it's not windy . I have some errands to run that I can do on my bike and plan on doing that.. If not it'll be walking which is ok too.
@Mmsfoxxie Your bday dinner/and more sounded nice. And gift was a appreciated I am sure!
Happy Monday...
