Re: WELCOME TO THE AUGUST EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning, everybody.

Lol....I hear you, @violet runner.  Age brings along its physical issues.  I've had foot problems as well.  Arthritis just loves me, lol.  Podiatrist didn't help.  One said I had flat feet.  Prior to that one said it was just overuse in conjunction with my arthritis.  I tend to believe that one because the condition comes and goes mostly at random.  Hope you find the right remedy, bottle it and send me some, lol.

Have a great last day of August, everyone.

Re: WELCOME TO THE AUGUST EXERCISE THREAD

@violet runner If one more person touches me, I might scream.

I've had a note to set an appointment with an eye doctor all year but #1 I hate finding new people and #2 I hate the taking off work for the appointment.

I need a leave me alone t-shirt like yesterday. High five on that!

Hope your heel heals soon. There is nothing worse than a chronic issue. I spent all of August sick and in doctor's offices. This all started with what I thought was a quick cholesterol lab and five appointments later...

@Mmsfoxxie I hope you find some relief. Have you tried a supplement to help with the arthritis at all? Not sure it would work but one of the supplements I take is meant for joint issues. I don't take it for that but I wonder if it's worth it to try. It's MSM and I get mine from Andrew Lessman.

I will say it works fabulously on hair too. I cut mine a couple days ago and I had a little kabuki brush plus some when I trimmed an inch. Basically an anti-inflammatory but it is sulphur which is apparently what our hair and nails are. Go figure. That's one side effect I'll take.

Let's kick August to the curb, peeps, and have a better September! Heart

Lol@Laura14, girl, I swear...you can put a smile into almost any situation.  One of your gifts!  Through the years, I've tried several of Andrew's products but can't remember which.  I have tried that joint product (starts with a G, I think.  Did nothing for me.  Possibly, I didn't try it long enough since they say it takes a while.  Calcium increased my constipation issues.  But, although, I have several issues, nothing is critical except my possible knee replacement my doctor is pushing.  So, I'm thankful.

Hi Everyone!

@violet runner - I have had plantar fascitis act up more than once.  The last time it happened I got inserts for my shoes and it has been a godsend.  No more pain.

Re: WELCOME TO THE AUGUST EXERCISE THREAD

Last Day of August!!!  Are y'all ready for Fall!  I know I am!

Although I hate to brag but it was only 62 here today and sunny!!

I did the reformer for an hour and a 30 minute dog walk.

All our aches and pains hey!   I have a dr. appt. tomorrow at 8:20 for another BP check, I know she will increase it but oh well.

@Laura14  did you get your mam results?  I know you said you thought they would want another ultrasound.

I am trying to look at everything with a blessing since my Grandson passed a couple weeks ago at age 25, I know that some of the things I complain about are little and I know nothing is critical.  It's a mind game with me.

See everyone in the September thread!

Re: WELCOME TO THE AUGUST EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper They did ultrasound me. I am so old hat at this I was bopping to my phone dancing in the waiting room ready to get on with my day and back to work. They posted the results in MyChart an hour after I left (they refuse to tell you on site which don't get me started) and it's a cyst.

I know not everyone is so lucky and I don't mean to make light of it in anyway. But when you've been called back almost every time, it's laugh rather than cry over something you can't control. No disrespect meant ever at the gravity of what it can be.

Hope your appointment goes well today. I still need to find an eye doctor. Smiley Frustrated
