Hi, his surgery is over and it went well.  He's back in his room in the ICU, and hopefully home tomorrow.   The nurse told me this afternoon how lucky he is to be alive.  She looked at his EKG from the defibrillator paper the Ambo crew took and she said "boy are you lucky".   Some people think cardiac arrest is heart attack, it was not a heart attack but the electrial system got halted from the scar tissue which built up on the open heart arteries which are still looking beautiful.  

I will be his Bopper Uber, and yes he will resume working.  I may have said this but we own a small business so he's the boss along with his 1 brother, he can come and go when he wants pretty much.  He plans on officially retiring a year from August.  It's hard to not overthink things but have to take it 1 day at a time.  I told him it will be our Adventure!  We have been together for 50 years!  And we want many more years together!

I am so touched by the outcoming of prayers, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

@bopper  - YEA!! So glad all went well and your DH will be home tomorrow.  Let his healing begin and your adventure as "Bopper Uber" begin!

@bopper , what a relief the surgery went well, but wow, that's scary.   Glad he's coming home and will keep you guys in my prayers.   Take care of yourself too, and some quiet time doing what you enjoy!

@Dazlin : Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. When I was about 8 was able to sit in saddle with a beautiful pony. It was a special place for handicapped  kids to enjoy a beautiful farm and different animals. I was worried and scared because I had a leg brace on. The owner stood with me in front of the pony. I spoke softly and gently rubbed his back. Very special day for me.
