I have had vertigo a few times.  Yes, it can be bad.  Sometimes I can't even turn my head without getting dizzy  and vomiting. It is scary and horrible.

It's a real problem because as you know, you occasionally have to use the rest room.

I once got stuck on the sofa for two days and couldn't move my head or use the rest room.

Now, I always carry BONINE with me.  It helps a lot.  As soon as I start to feel dizzy, I pop a tablet into my mouth. it's an over the counter item.

I have a blister pac of this med in my purse and in my medicine cabinet.  I wouldn't be without it.

I called 911 for my first and only time because of vertigo.  I couldn't walk straight and my BP was way up.  It can be very serious, @Luvsmyfam.  I had an MRI to make sure it wasn't a stroke.  I get lightheaded still but haven't had another episode of vertigo.

I've also had vertigo.  I got it two years ago starting in August and it finally went away early in December.  It wasn't constant but would come on go up & down in intensity thoughout the day and some days I didn't have it at all and though that it was finally gone only for it to return a few days later.

I discovered that when lying down on one side i felt much better than the other side.  I looked up the Epley maneuver on YouTube and I believe it's what helped for it to finally go away.  It's an inner ear issue.

I also suffer with vertigo and I send my sympathies to all who suffer with it! It can hit suddenly with extreme symptoms and other times one can feel it coming on and prevent an attack. ❤️

You might have an ear infection. I felt dizziness once and went to urgent care. I was told I had an ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics.
