I just had a series of blood work done and my vitiman B12 levels are very high over 1000. I have been supplementing my vitiman B for many years. Over the years my levels have been all over the map as shown below. I see the doctor that ordered the tests in early December. Thank you all

@Sooner That is what I am trying to figure out, it seems like drastic swings

I started taking Vitamin B12 a couple of years ago when my levels were really low.  Now when I get bloodwork done they are sometimes high. Like you I was worried it was too high, but my doctor was not worried about the high levels as this is a water soluble vitamin.  Now instead of taking it everyday I take every two or three days.

High vit B12 levels are not concerning. They can fluctuate normally and the results obtained by labs can vary between the different labs doing the testing. Also, there are certain medications and supps that can interfere with testing, in particular biotin supplements and the medication gamma globulin. But if the levels are high there's no need to be alarmed. It's when the level gets abnormally low that should be a concern.

@I am still oxox,  you stated in your initial post that you "have been supplementing my vitiman B for many years".

Were you referring to a general B-Complex supplement or specifically just B12?

My vitamin B12 level is always over 2000. I take a B12 tablet daily. My Endocrinologist says you can't have enough of B12. It has been show to help with a multitude of things, including cognition as we age.
