Re: Vaccination Planning 101

DH and I received the Pfizer vaccine the other day. I just had a

bit of soreness in my left arm next day.  DH had no side effect at all.  Our second shots are in three weeks, so we will see.

Same with me, I had the Phizer on Jan 28.  Just a little arm sorness at the injection site the next day and nothing after that.  Can't wait for the second shot of Feb 28.

Re: Vaccination Planning 101

In my area I have only heard of people getting the Pfizer vaccine.  I had an appt. scheduled for the 13th but they called today and asked if I could come tomorrow.  I will go.  So far I have heard of no reactions to the first Pfizer shot.

My friends son did a test group several months ago with Moderna.  At the time he did not know if he had the actual vaccine or the placebo but he did experience side effects after the second shot for a couple of days, so he assumed he got the vaccine.  He found out a couple of weeks ago he did indeed get the vaccine.

Re: Vaccination Planning 101

We walked into our local Safeway today to pick up a prescription.  There was a crowd in vaccination waiting room ( unusual for this late in flu season ) so I asked if they were there for flu or covid ; they said Covid so we got first shot today, without an appointment, within 30 minutes!  I had checked online with Health Department and they said no shots in my county for all of February; this practically qualifies as a miracle!  DH who is 70 with many health issues, got his as well!
