I told you Guys last week that Maria wasn't going back back to the surgeon until January. And they wanted a picture of her head scar on this past Monday. They emailed Maria Monday and told her they didn't like the way it was healing so they had her go in today. They still want to see a new picture this Friday and if it looks better there going to give her a steroid to jump start the healing so she starts feeling better from the symptoms that she was having that got her to have surgery. She still doesn't feel any better but she cooked twice this week with my assistance when nessesary. The other day I made a homemade coconut Angel cake with meringue frosting and when I was frosting the cake I remembered she don't like that kind of frosting so today I made her apple oatmeal raisin walnut cookies with a glaze on them.again I thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes.

What a loving relationship you have with your wife.  Those cookies sound great.  I hope Maria soon is feeling better. Still keeping you in my prayers.

cooking - baking - and I assume ....having to clean up in the kitchen.  LOL

Praying that Maria will get stronger each day & see a complete recovery soon. It is so heartwarming to read of the close, supportive relationship you share. @Pooky1 you are such a great cook! If you ever write a cookbook I will buy it!!

Actually mommavic. Maria is a better cook. I don't make home pasta. She makes homemade pasta, ravioli, gnocchi and Alot of other things and at Christmas time she makes she makes a ton of different cookies. Plus wandies and pizzella cookies. She gets that from her mom . her parents are from Italy.

Maria must be so frustrated in that we have surgery to alleviate pain and to correct the issues. I'm glad the doctors are being proactive and have a plan in place to speed up the recovery.

You both sound very happy and seem to exemplify a true partnership.

I will continue to keep you both in my prayers - especially so that Maria receives some immediate relief.
