Hello to you all!!

Haven't posted much lately---so I thought I would give out a little info and then ask for a little info.

I start my 7th or 12 rounds of taxol this coming Monday. Go every Monday and then will get the month of November off to recoup and then start radiation in December. So far so good. This part hasn't been so brutal as the first chemo with the adriamycin/cytoxcyn (oye, the spelling{#emotions_dlg.huh}) but it still has been challenging. Am more tired as I don't have a whole week to recover in between rounds, but the blood work has been good so no nasty neulasta shots to boost that. But I mourn for my eyelashes and eyebrows altho I still have a few. Mostly for my eyelashes as I can draw kick a(s)s brows on myself but cannot for the life of me, figure out how to apply faux (fake) eyelashes to look like , well, eyelashes, and not some furry bug that landed on my eyelids. And may I also say that, holy frijoles, does it take so much more time to put on all the fake (faux) things than it did to corral the real things. I make everyone who goes with me or takes me anywhere, sign an agreement stating that if they see my wig going bonkers or any eyebrow that has disappeared and is in the middle of my forehead, to immediately tell me so I don't totally embarrass myself.

OK now---for a question. I have been going to nutrition classes that are using Neal D. Barnard and the Cancer Project ideas about how nutrition and cancer. The instructor cooks from the book, The Cancer Survivors Guide. It is a totally vegan approach and so far the food has been excellent. I could totally go vegan except for a few things like eggs and oils/fats. Any comments about that? Tonight I am cooking up a veggie curry over brown rice that I had at the class that was so good. Makes me drool thinking about it---which is another thing my friends have to make sure they check when we are together---no drooling{#emotions_dlg.laugh}, them or me!!!!
