Constipation and impaction are not the same thing. if you think you getting impacted, you need to call your Doctor ASAP. If it gets too bad, you will have to be admitted to the hospital.
I have a friend who has been impacted several times after surgery, probably caused by the meds she had to take.
This is serious business.
