@bargainsgirl I recently broke my shoulder - about 6.5 weeks ago (seems longer). I am recovering OK but talked with my physical therapist about a poltus that I would cook on the stove and wrap in a gauze bandage and apply to the area that needs attention on my arm.
She was not against it but when I read you post I thought maybe you could do the same....instead of taking a pill form of Tumeric. There is tumeric in the poltus.
There is breast cancer on my side of the family so I would not ingest that product but I think applying to the painful area would not hurt...do not know that for sure.
I had no idea about the spice being hormone sensitive for some people.

You are correct. That was also mentioned in the article I read.
It also should not be used by someone who has gallbladder issues (that would be me).
