@Cupcake@bichon mom@2blonde@Shelbelle

Sorry I did not make it back here sooner.

The Trulance has stopped my pain...and regularity is now happening for me!

My pain I described to my GI: feels like someone is twisting my intestines with two hands from my rib cage all the way down to lower abdomen.

It has been bad enough to limit my activities for the last two years.

Occasionally, it also resulted in gastritis.

@LTT1
I will eventually try it on my next go around with the gastroenterologist.

Today I am picking up this rx...it is a laxative of a rare variety I am guessing.

It supposedly reverses constipation.

Reading reviews; scattered experiences all over the place!

if you have ever been prescribed this medication, would you please post?

Thisvis an amino-peptide, and it mimics the enzyme that lines the GI tract...I think!

Have you considered taking Movantik for your constipation?

@EatWell

Thank you for your suggestion, although it appears that one will be at full retail cost to me also. (Ouch)

We are reviewing advantage plans and one looks like it will pay a hefty portion of our monthly cost for Trulance.

I am interested in checking MEDICARE Advantage plans for coverage pertaining to Movantik also now.

Thank you again.

I just followed my GI’s instructions and filled the rx. Also, my constipation is not due to opioids, but I will research and see the reviews.
