These are great suggestions, thank you all so much.

I had a temporary colostomy a few years ago, the skin irritation was the worse.

I do still have some of my cleansing wipes which are specific to colostomy patients, very gentle.   I've been using it to try to get the sticky stuff off.

 

I was wearing a monitor for 4 days and had to have those sticky electrodes all over me.  They got changed out after 48 hours, you should see my chest.

 

My arms & hands are a mess from IVs and blood draws

 

I also have more places in more sensitive areas, I'll spare you the details.

 

I'm going to the pharmacy tomorrow, I  know what to look for, thanks.

I am also allergic to medical tape.  I find that cortizone cream works very well or as others have suggested neosporin, which is a great healing cream.  Best wishes, however stay away from the rubbing alcohol........ouch!
