Sorry to hear about your foot injury. As a former runner of over 1,000 races, I very well understand a runners feelings when they are injured. Not many that I didn't have over the decades.
I however have 2 machines that can be used regardless of an injury on either the upper or lower part of the body, and I am talking for both cardio and strength maintenance or improvement.
The NuStep is an expensive machine that can be used unilaterally with 1 leg/foot/hand or arm. If one side is injured you use the other. If the injury is to the upper body I used the machine only with my legs, or leg if it is injured. With this I was able to maintain my cardio fitness regardless of what part of my body was injured.
Not sure I would be using my Rebounder if I had an injured foot, but it depends on where and the degree of the injury.
The other machine is my Pilates PremierXP. If it is my upper body I can use the rebounder for my cardio and lower body injury just the upper body muscles.
Best to you in getting back to running if that is your sport of choice.
