Sorry, I don't know abt this machine, but anything with Tony Little's endorsement to me is going to be junk and hype.

How was she injured by something that vibrates?

I watched a presentation video, and even listening to Tony? I have no idea exactly what this is supposed to do. He talked about "muscles firing" and "range of motion". I understand these terms quite well, and I have no idea how this machine is going to increase anyone's range of motion.
As far as "muscles firing", every step you take leg muscles are "firing". I don't view vibration with contracting and lengthening anything.
Now if you have ever seen a Body Blade presentation, you can see how those movements contract the muscles. I watched the lady with Tony in the video and the only time I saw her "quads firing" was when she was doing the partial squats.
This may help balance, I don't know because I have never used one. But as far as "range of motion and muscles firing"? I don't see it.
One more thing it might help is blood circulation, which is very important when it comes to preventing blood clots, especially after some type of lower body surgery. Similar to the pads strapped onto a patients legs during and after surgery, prior to them being able to get up and walk. DVT is very dangerous at any time.

LOVE MINE, it's got a nice sized platform with a slight curve for even more circulation and balance benefits.
Love it and have had zero issues.
Mine was $25 less and came with additional dvds.

I have a vibrating platform, and they do help with balance. I use it and stand on one leg and the vibrations challenge the body.

I've never had the opportunity to use one of those vibration machines. If it's anything like riding on the back of a hardtail Harley, I think I'll pass.
